This is my second one. The first one was replaced by Sam's because the broil function stopped working. Now this one has the same issue as the other reviews with the timer. It either keeps clicking and won't shut off or the oven itself stays on. Woke up this morning to a strange smell and found that the oven had been on all night! Definitely could've caused a fire!!

I've had it a little bit more than a year and now the temperature control is broken. It either stuck on the highest heat setting / toast or no heating at all. The knob turns but does not change the temperature. I had to keep my eyes closely while using this oven, otherwise, it would burn my food or not work at all. This situation lasted for a couple of months before it totally broke down (it wouldn't heat anymore). The product was great while it worked, but did not last long. It looks sturdy and powerful, but performed worse than my 10 year old, $30 cheap toast oven.

Love the toaster oven but after 1 1/2 yrs, the door started to squeak a lot. It is apparently due to the pully mechanism the door level rides on, it split into 2 pieces, so now the door level is grinding on the shaft instead of riding on the pulley. Did I just get a defective pulley? Great otherwise, we love the toaster, just hate the noise each time we open/close the door.

I am writing to say that I was initially pleased with this purchase due the size of this toaster oven and the price, but then started noticing issues that make this a regrettable purchase. The temperature on this oven is a problem., I'm not able to regulate it well. I've baked cakes that come out over baked or burned on top, which was not a problem with my previous toaster oven. This past week the toaster oven stopped working altogether. Completely stopped! I've had it for less than a year! My previous one I had for more than 8 years before it died on me because I use it so much. Not sure what the problem is with this brand but I'm not happy with it. I now need to purchase another toaster oven, but I will be looking at the brand I had previously, and not this one.

Absolutely loved this toaster oven when I got it last Christmas. It lasted several months and worked great. One day it just stopped heating. Fortunately, it was still warrantied at Sam's Club and they replaced it. Again, worked great until tonight when it just stopped heating again. Obviously, an issue with the heating elements? Very disappointing.

I had this oven for 8 yrs and it would still be working today if I had not dropped it! During the hot summer months it is set up in my basement so I don't have to heat up my kitchen. Four years ago we lost power for 4 days due to a major snowstorm. Having a generator backup I could not use my electric stove, so my Oster oven took over the task and never failed me. For holiday dinners it's a blessing as an additional oven. It's an essential part of my kitchen. On occasion I get testy because something didn't work right, but it's always because I had not set it properly. I'm happy that this newer oven is a bit bigger than the old one (although my old one would still hold a 9x13 pan). I make bread 3 or 4 times a week and the Oster workhorse never fails me. But it's best feature for me is the ability to use it either in my basement or garage during the hot months of summer.

Yeah, it's big. But overall, meh. It's actually too big. The depth is so deep that when you open the door the glass hits the edge of the countertop. This is dangerous as I can easily see the glass door shattering when it drops against the granite edge. The glass is frameless giving it no protection from the counters edge. Convection feature? USELESS! I've never had a convection oven that failed to bake evenly, this oven is the exception. Doesn't bake evenly which is the whole point of convection. The knobs are awkward. It's also hard to set the timer. If you want to cook less than 20 minutes, you have to turn past 20 minute mark on the timer and then back down to how long you want to cook. If you want to turn off the oven, you have to be VERY careful or you'll easily go past the off position to the Stay On position. The oven is now on, not off.

Worked nice for about 3 months. The convection fan stopped working. I could live without the fan. About a year after that, the oven worked some time. Now nothing works. I have had other ovens similar to this one work for many years. I will not be buying another Oster oven.

Bought one of these a few years ago. Takes a long time to toast bread or waffles, and the broil function is mediocre. But we liked the convection and large size. When the broil stopped working I took it back to Sam's and they replaced it. Had this one maybe a year or so and now having the same on/off knob issue others have mentioned. Very dangerous! Woke up and oven had been on all night. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Very unfortunate, this could be a great product.

I bought this convection oven last year,loved it.Then it started overheating ,burning the tops of anything I cooked. I had bought the warranty plan,called them they refunded my money with no problem. So I went back to Sams to buy it again,I thought well maybe it was just that oven.Wrong!.Its so nice,love the controls,space and etc. I have been using about a month with no problem ,and all of a sudden its doing the same thing! Burning biscuits,rolls,cookies anything I cook and that's with me having it on 250 degrees to bake on,ughhh! Hate it, now I ve got to return it again.So disappointing!
