[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using an older model Bissell for about 10 years now. My first thought when opening the Bissell CleanView was how much lighter it was. I incorrectly assumed that it would not be as powerful, but I was wrong. I vacuumed an area rug and carpet that had been JUST vacuumed by my older vacuum and a Roomba, and the CleanView tank was full after I was done. I have a golden retriever, so being able to pick up pet hair is a must, and this vacuum gets the job done. This is a simple, easy to use vacuum. The wand and attachments are great for being able to tackle furniture or harder to reach areas. I didn't think I'd appreciate the automatic cord rewind as much as I do, but it's so handy to be able to hit a button, and the cord is neatly wrapped up and out of sight in seconds. For anyone looking for a lightweight, compact vacuum, especially if you have pets, I highly recommend this one.

This vacuum is easy to maneuver and has amazing suction power. Picks up all debris and leaves floors clean and hair free. I like that the extra tools have storage space on the vacuum for easy access and to prevent misplacing them. I also love the automatic rewind feature. The cord retracts easily with a press of a button. This vacuum works great and has useful features.

Bought 2 and may buy a 3rd for the basement. Like to have one on each floor. Bissell Pet vacuums are the best. Just donated my Hoover even though it worked fine. I have 2 large German Shepherds and it's tough to keep up. This vacuum is so lightweight and easy to operate with edge suction on both sides. Really like the retractable cord at the base of machine. Agree with previous review that tools pop off so I put them in a small plastic bag and tie to handle. Price is the best which makes it reasonable to have multiple vacuums.

I had to have the carpet setting on the highest level even on my regular carpet that's not very thick. I do wish the surface changer was at the top near the handle. I love the automatic rewind cord. The cord is a little shorter than my other vacuum but not terribly short either. Very easy to empty and clean the filter.

I was super happy with the performance of the machine cleaning the carpets and floor better than my other vacuum, BUT I can't get to the middle of my staircase because the closest outlets are too far for what seems like a 10' cord. My other vacuum I only changed outlets once to do the entire first floor. With this vacuum, some rooms I can't even cover the whole one room without switching outlets. Very disappointed.

It comes mostly assembled in the box and what assembly needs to be done is super easy. It has several attachments to be used in corners and on furniture. My favorite is the turbo brush. I used it on my couch and recliner and it got everything. The vacuum is light weight, which makes moving around and going up steps a breeze. The extended arm helps to reach those hard to reach areas up above, such as draperies or ceiling fans. I absolutely love this vacuum and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a pet. Or messy kids.

Unpacking was very easy, only thing to connect was the hose to the body and place the accessories on their brackets. The vacuum is not very light but neither cumbersome to use. It replaces a Kenmore auto vacuum and a shark upright. I was very surprised to see the amount of dirt this vacuum picked up. The home was cleaned by the kenmore the day before or I thought it was...the cord is not very long so depending on the home size you might find yourself plugging and unplugging in order to vacuum the home something that personally doesn't bother me. The amount of dirt that it picked up made me think that the vacuums I have don't pick anything. A con I noticed is the inability to vacuum under tables etc. as the vacuum feels a tad bulky and doesn't fit under such areas. The cord auto rewind is very nice feature. The roll did not tangle with a bunch of hair as my shark does (2 long haired girls in the home). The brush accessory is great for removing dust from the baseboards while the vacuum takes away the dust. The couch attachment cleaned the crumbs and debris under the couch pillows in a breeze. The home has 10 foot ceilings and I am 5.2", I found myself stretching trying to reach the ceiling corners as between the hose and the hose accessory it was not long enough. Tall people will probably have no issue but fun size people might have a small challenge. Overall, if I had to purchase this vacuum I would as it has great suction and removes debris. I have vinyl and carpeted areas in my home.

The cord is so long (I was able to do my entire bedroom and half of my hallway without changing plugs, which never happened with my other vacuums), and worked so well! I have a black Newfoundland dog and her hair is always ll over in the carpet. I usually have to go over each section 2-3 times to get it all up but this vacuum got it all in one swipe!
