Great vacuum! I gifted this to mom. She has a small dog and 2 cats. This is really picking up fur and dirt that her other vacuum was not, it'svery powerful. It has a retractable cord, making it easy to put away. The attachment are great for cleaning chairs and the sofa too. I am going to buy a second one now for myself. It's a great value. I like that Bissell has a Bissell Pet foundation too.

I had read reviews of others who said they couldn't believe how much was in their carpets...well DITTO here!!! I was SHOCKED to see how full it got and how fast!!!! It's easy to maneuver and I LOVE the wind up cord, which is extra long making it much easier, instead of having to replug every room~ It was easy to put together, and quite pretty! LOVE IT "sweepstakes"

Very good price but the vacuum is mediocre. Core is shorter that I would like so I attached an extension cord to it. No light which would be helpful under and behind things. The height/level needs to be changed as I go from wood, to very short carpet and on thicker carpet it is hard to push. Would not buy again. Pay more and get a better product.

The attachments come in handy for smaller jobs And the color is awesome. Makes vacuuming almost fun. OH my goodness, what a great affordable machine! I bought this vacuum for two reasons, first I have had good experience with the Bissell brand and second, it was a great sale price! I couldn't believe how much dust and rug debris came from the rug in my living room. It's a VERY thick shag rug. We vacuumed it 3x and got a good amount of debris each time!!!! The only issue is that due to the incredible suction, I can't vacuum my thinner area rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Bissell was so old I couldn't get parts I needed for it anymore. I'm guessing after 18 years or so it's time for a new one. Love our new one its light and being able to reach ten feet or more with the wand is a great advantage. Especially as we get older.

Works well to control dog hair (I have 4 dogs). I like the solid filter. It is easier to clean.
