I chose TempurPedic primarily because I needed to try the mattress before I bought it. There are many "highly rated" mattresses that only are available online but I was not going to buy "sight unseen". The Flagship store associate added value to my purchase with her clear explanations and patience while I debated which firmness to get and went back and forth between the displays. There was also good followup because I did not purchase during my initial store visit and had additional questions. The "White Glove" delivery and 90 day trial were also important factors in my decision.

Had a Tempurpedic medium firm queen before this split king. Also purchased the adjustable bases. The adjust-ability is fantastic. It allows me to find the sweet spot to get a restful night sleep. The only issue we have had so far is the break in time required. At first the firm was too firm, but now three weeks later it is starting to conform better. Overall we are very happy with the mattress.

This mattress is very comfortable for back sleepers that don't move around. Laying on either side gives me sore hips and shoulders-which I never expected would happen with the coils inside-it feels like laying on a slab of solid foam that doesn't give enough to transfer away from pressure points. I have a split king and the two sides slide apart to easily always with a big gap between them. They're too lightweight and should have side guards to keep them in place like they do at the bottom

I've been sleeping on a very hard bed for 30 years because of a bad back. The new ProAdapt Firm mattress has been great on my back, sleeping is sound and my back feels great every morning. I thought the mattress would be much harder living in the North East in winter, but it settles in nice a quick and I'm off to sleep before I know it..

This is hands down the most incredible mattress I've ever slept on. It's fantastic for both side sleepers and back sleepers. The mattress is firm/supportive for your spine, however, the memory foam ensures that the surface is soft. It's definitely worth the price!

I've been using this for several months now and as a result the back pain and problems I have experienced have been Reduced to the point where I'm not in pain most of the time unlike before now. So I can undoubtably say the Tempur-pedic pro adapt firm mattress has improved the quality of my life.

Everyone needs a Tempur-Pedic mattress! As a Team USA figure skater, recovery is a HUGE part of my life. This includes proper amount of sleep. Before I was sleeping on a mattress that I had had since middle school. In the past year I had noticed that I was having trouble falling asleep, getting too hot while I slept, and waking up with a sore back or not feeling refreshed. As soon as I started sleeping on my Tempur-Pedic mattress I noticed that I had more energy in the morning, I didn't feel as sluggish. This mattress adapts and conforms to my unique weight, shape, and temperature. It's pretty amazing what a good quality mattress can do for your life!

Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long. Me está costando acostumbrarme al colchón. Me da pena porque después de casi tres meses, mi colchón todavía no se siente suave y cómodo. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd Tempurpedic set. We went from an adjustable king to an adjustable split king. Although I find it as comfortable as the first, there are some things that are annoying. First the mattresses slide apart even after we put anti-skid pads under them. Secondly, the split set makes changing sheets much more difficult since the mattresses are so heavy.
