The mattress provides great support to your back as it does not sink even when you're laying on the same spot for a long time. This is the kind of firm mattress that I've been looking for.

You don't have that get in, sink really deep into it thing that you do with some fully foam mattresses. The give is, instead, just enough to be really, really comfortable. And it's great for cuddling: your arm doesn't fall asleep. In contrast, I find that I'm definitely getting better sleep on this mattress, and, I don't wake up sore anymore. It's pretty fantastic. I've also found that, compared to my previous spring mattress, I don't feel as much when my partner moves or shifts in the night. I dare say this mattress is even more comfortable than a hammock, and that's saying something. One concern I had with a foam mattress was how warm it would be. Well, my fears turned out to be unjustified: even in an apartment with no air conditioning, in an unusually hot August, I had no trouble with overheating, and I definitely sleep on the warm side. I think this is due to the fact you don't end up sinking into, and being encapsulated in, the mattress. The only downsides I found with this mattress were minor. First, when it arrived, it definitely had a pretty strong plastic smell to it. Fortunately this dissipated after a few days. The other thing I discovered is that, if you don't have sheets that are big enough for the mattress depth, they really don't work! With my old mattress, slightly smaller sheets still gripped the side of the mattress fine. This one, though, has so much give in it that I kept waking up completely wrapped in the bottom sheet! This was rectified by purchasing some sheets that actually fit the 12 inch deep mattress--- but it's a good thing to know beforehand.

This Proadapt Firm mattress is my 4th in twenty years. I'm am very happy with after 6 nights of restful sleep. It's very solid feel gives me excellent comfort and support. I wake up well rested and energetic for the day. Each day it softens a little to the touch without losing its firmness. I love it. Best mattress ever.

THE COOLNESS ITS WAHAT SOLD ME ON THE MATTRESS AND PILLOWS FOR THAT KIND OF MONEY. MAYBE THE NEXT GENERATION THE WILL MAKE THEM TO LAST LONGER. I KNOW MY SISTERS AND FRIEND WAS ABOUT TO BUY ONE FOR XMAS BECASUE THE TRIED MINE AND LIKED IT BECAUSE OF THE COOLNESS, NOW THEY AREN'T BECAUSE MINE ISN'T COOL. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my new firm tempurpedic mattress I've had he best sleep I've had in years. I sleep through the night, and feel supported at every point. It's been especially helpful because of a recent back injury. I can't think of any drawbacks honestly. It's expensive, but good sleep is worth it. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, so it's worth the investment in yourself. I wake up more refreshed and energized than i have in years of sleeping on my old mattress.

This is our second experience with TEMPUR-PEDIC mattresses. We purchased one in years ago and it is still in use today by another family member. We passed it along to another family member due to heat generated while sleeping. We were pleased to find that TEMPUR-PEDIC adapted to newer technology and incorporated COOL technology into the Pro Adapt mattress. The mattress is comfortable, however, it does not retain the coolness that was experienced as we tested the model in the store. We feel this could be caused by the TEMPER-PEDIC factory mattress cover we purchased and installed. Overall the mattress is good and we are happy with the performance. We believe the defining test will be during our high humidity, hot Florida summer that is fast approaching.

I am very satisfied with this particular mattress and would certainly recommend it to all.

The delivery team arrived Monday, October 21, 2019 a Wonderful morning at 9:15am.... I was so excited to finally have my new bed after many months of remodeling my house. There were many changes along the way and Sleep Outfitters made every one of them effortless and a wonderful experience overall. My joints don't ache as much anymore. I am so happy to go to sleep instead of dreading it. I Don't wake up in the middle of the night. The Zero Gravity setting is my absolute favorite!!! It truly feels like I'm floating!!!Words cannot put how I feel about my bed...Love Love Love My Tempur Pedic!!! I've been a fan of Tempurpedic since 2004 and recently purchased my second mattress. I also use their pillows and they are wonderful. I get the best night's sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. The memory foam in this bed is so comforting I usually stay in one position and never move around the bed. PS ~ my yellow lab loves it, too!!
