Member's Mark Spanish Style Paprika, 18 oz.

This is good as a regular paprika, but the smoke flavoring that should be there for a Spanish Style paprika is missing.

Ran out of my usual go to Smoked Paprika by McCormick so I ordered this one.  
I’ve used it once since the purchase and let’s just say It is not what I expected.  
If you’re looking for the Smokey flavor as I too was expecting, this is not it.  It’s more of a sweet flavor or no flavor at all.  
Highly disappointed as I’ve purchased other seasonings from Sam’s this is the first where it’s just not what it says it is.

No smoke

This paprika made an awesome flavor in the dry rub I made for 2 racks of baby back ribs: 
8 tbsp smoked paprika (Members Mark Spanish Style)
6 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp Kosher salt
2 tbsp black pepper freshly ground
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp mustard powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
¼ tsp hot cayenne pepper.

The paprika you want for dry rub!
