The container had a very strong plastic smell when i pulled the seal and lid off. I tasted the paprika and it didnt taste good, I kept it for a while because I didnt want to toss it but ended up buying another brand in a glass bottle after never using it, the plastic smell lingered. Maybe mine was exposed to heat some time before purchasing that made the plastic of the bottle smell that way but I would not risk buying again.

This is a great tasting smoked paprika. Less expensive than anywhere else.

A must for making Barbecue sauce. Also Great for deviled eggs and chicken salads. Many recipes can use Paprika and this one comes in a convenient size.

This is not Spanish Style Paprika... this is a very mild sweet paprika. The label should be changed. It is a good product and tastes good, but again, it is not Spanish Style Paprika. Spanish Style is made with Smoked Peppers, which this definitely is not.

I bought this and it has been delivered but I haven't opened it. I think I will return it. It contains ethoxyquin to preserve color. That chemical is banned in Europe and has numerous possible bad health effects. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethoxyquin Neither Tone's nor Walmart Great Value have this ingredient. (Positives: Delivery was timely. It was properly packed, and not damaged.)

I am very disappointed that this is NOT pure paprika. It contains silicon dioxide (sand!) and an artificial color enhancer that is not even allowed in food in many countries. I will not buy this inferior “paprika-like” product again. I wish i checked the Ingredients before I purchased it, since cant return it.
