I used to buy whatever was on sale. No more. I bought Scotch-brite a few years back, and I have ot bought another brand of sponge sinne. These sponges hold up very well. I was it a couple of times a week in my dishwasher, and it really looks good when he comes out of the dishwasher. Great product!

We have been using this product for years. It is great at getting things clean, that nothing else can touch. In the last six months when we use the pads, we are getting poked with steel strips. I looked closer and it appears there is steel wool in the product or something similar. Never had this problem until lately. Did you change something? It hurts when this happens and seems to happen every time I use them now. Not sure how many stars to give this product. Last year I would have given it 5-stars. The product now would get 2-stars until this issue is addressed. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free Scotch Brite scrub sponge to check out. It is very useful for cleaning things at a kitchen sink I'm sure, but it is also quite handy at the laundry tub we keep outside the house by the side faucet. The tub gets used a lot for all sorts of outdoor projects, from cleaning BBQ grills to putting together or cleaning flower pots, and innumerable other wash jobs too messy for doing at indoor sinks. The Scotch Brite pad, along with an assortment of brushes, works great for scrubbing tasks at the tub, and also for spring scrubbing of our aluminum patio furniture, summer maintenance of the patio table top, and even for removing stubborn bug spatter off windshields. The pad is kept with bar soap and SOS pad in a sealable old baby wipe container on the outside tub, and stays protected in there year-round, and always at the ready.

The dark green side of the heavy duty sponge will take scratch marks off stainless steel sinks and pots. Fantastic porduct as the little scratchs kept the sink from looking clean and caused it to grab dirt and grese causing it to become actually dirty faster. And yet it does not marr my delicate stuff like china and is easy on my hands. You would think anything that would clean steel would scratch like crazy but it doesn't.

This product really surprised me when I went to clean my new kitchen. It removed paint that had gotten on my new sink and counter top. I used my heavy duty scrub sponge and soap and water and got the best ever results. It's the best. I also keep one in the bathroom to clean my tile shower and walls with.

Please note the last review of this product was in 2012. There must have been a change in the way this product's produced since then. I have been using these sponges for a long time, but recently, EVERY sponge I have bought like this gets the worst mildew smell almost instantly. After only one use the sponge becomes so mildewy you must replace. I know others that use this type and report the same issue! For a product that has been great for so long, this is a huge disappointment. I would buy another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these for years and intend to continue to do so generally on a daily basis. I use them for washing a dish quick in the sink (instead of the dishwasher) and/or for wiping down the counter in the kitchen, such as my coffee prep area which seems to be the spot that needs the most cleaning...perhaps as I tend to drink coffee more often than actually cooking! I tend to find that they last a decent amount of time and will steralize them by zapping them in the microwave with some water. Wow, I love these Scotch Brite heavy duty scrub sponges. My boyfriend bought my first package of this type of scrubbing sponge and now I totally adore them. I can have the worst baked-on, stuck-on stuff on a pan and this sponge is like a wonder tool. I rate these sponges at 5 stars

I've been using these sponges since the 1970's. My mother in law introduced me to them. I have tried imitations in the past, but there is no comparison, They just don't hold up. I've since switched husbands and mother in laws, but I will never switch my Scotch Brite sponges!

Used it with a bathroom cleaner and took it all off with minimal scrubbing. Very happy with this product and would definitely purchase it again. Recommended it to my daughter who is moving and has to clean up the new house and she likes it a lot too. Very good product.
