I moved into my first apartment in 1972. On my first shopping trip I bought Scotch Brite scouring pads. In all the time that has passed since then, many products have come and gone. But Scotch Brite scouring pads have always been in my kitchen. If I heard that they were going to be discontinued, I would buy every one I saw so I would never be without them.

Whenever my church has a dinner fundraiser to put on, I will only use Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponge scrubbers for the clean-up. No other product can keep up with the amount of pots and pans we wash during our dinners so I will only use Scotch- brite!

I have been buying Scotch Brite for many years. For a number of years I couldn't keep one though. My son was riding competition dirt bikes and every time I turned around he was stealing them to clean the mud and dirt from his motorcycle. Anyway, I don't see how anyone can live without them. Obviously, we can't.

So I have been using Scotch Brite for since I can remember and I have never had a problem with their sponges. Actually untill today I was a huge advocate for sticking to the "name-brand" sponges. Even when the "off-brand" is on sale for 75% less. But this time Scotch-Brite, you failed me. I purchased a 3 pack of your Heavy-Duty Scrub Sponges and when I opened the package the green scrub part was basically FALLING OFF the yellow sponge. Like the glue just gave up and went to sleep. I know things like this happen during the manufacturing process right, so I am not upset it's a flipping scrub sponge, but it's 11pm at nigght and I have family coming over in the morning and now I cannot do all of my dishes. Now I have to HIDE my ditry pans dangit! I will probably give you guys another chance in hopes this was in face a "fluke" but man, this sucks. Also, I had to say No below when asked "Would you recommend this product to a friend?" because I can't guarantee this wouldn't happen to them...

I've been cleaning a woman's house for her that hasn't had a serious cleaning in quite some time. It's that kind of "caked on", "baked on", "it takes an army" mess that only a Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge can handle. Scotch Brite saves me time and energy so that I have time to tackle the messes that are everywhere else... Like the windows, the laundry, the vacuuming...:)

I really love this product. Having kids and pets you know how much a mess they can do.. I just bust out my heavy duty sponge and you dont need to scrub to hard to see that it gets the job done.. I love Scotch Brite Heavy Duty scrubbing sponges! The scrubbing side lasts a long time. The sponge side doesn't wear away like other brands. There is no odor from the sponge. It's gentle enough to use on all my dishes, but tough enough to use on pots & pans. Overall, it's great!!

we have tried all the spongers on the market and always came back to the heavy duty sponge. It is the ONLY one we use, from washing dishes to cleaning up messes on the floor to cleaning the bathrooms. Love the heavy duty spongy material with the green scrubber on the back for stubborn areas.

This is the best sponge out there for the money. This is a sturdy sponge that doesn't fall apart with heavy duty jobs. This sponge has both a gentle side and a scrubbing side, so it is very versatile. I use this sponge for washing every day dishes, whether it be for utensils & glasses or pots & pans. I use this for cleaning my glass stove top without scratching it. I buy the multi-pack, because I use it for other jobs as well. I use it in the bathroom for sinks, tubs, shower and toilet. I also use it to clean our cockatoo bird cage. It is quite large and needs monthly cleaning. This sponge works well with scrubbing off the waste on the bottom of the cage. Overall this is a quality sponge that is useful for any cleaning situation.
