[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this product for several years and it has never let me down. I much prefer it over steel wool because it gets the job done without damaging the surface. They also last forever. Just rinse and repeat!

I moved into my first apartment in 1972. On my first shopping trip I bought Scotch Brite scouring pads. In all the time that has passed since then, many products have come and gone. But Scotch Brite scouring pads have always been in my kitchen. If I heard that they were going to be discontinued, I would buy every one I saw so I would never be without them.

I have tried a lot of others, but this is the only one that get's the job done in everything I do. It is strong enough for use in the bathroom, washing floors by hand etc. I love this product. Also, it lasts a long time, not like those "white sponges."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The combination of surfaces makes it very functional and convenient to use. One still has to be cautious that it isn't too abrasive for the item it is being used on. Great for scrubbing oven racks or other items with caked on grease, dirt and other tough challenges. It holds up well and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher, too.

I always try to buy Scotch bright sponges, because of the quality of them. They last so much longer than the other sponges I have tried. And the scrubber part doesn't wear off very easily. I would definitely recommend this product to others! Great job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free Scotch Brite scrub sponge to check out. It is very useful for cleaning things at a kitchen sink I'm sure, but it is also quite handy at the laundry tub we keep outside the house by the side faucet. The tub gets used a lot for all sorts of outdoor projects, from cleaning BBQ grills to putting together or cleaning flower pots, and innumerable other wash jobs too messy for doing at indoor sinks. The Scotch Brite pad, along with an assortment of brushes, works great for scrubbing tasks at the tub, and also for spring scrubbing of our aluminum patio furniture, summer maintenance of the patio table top, and even for removing stubborn bug spatter off windshields. The pad is kept with bar soap and SOS pad in a sealable old baby wipe container on the outside tub, and stays protected in there year-round, and always at the ready.

I love the heavey duty sponge I use it for all my cleaning in the kitchen and another one for the bathroom it is just the right size to handle and you can use any cleaning soap that you want to and it is great just for mopping up the little spills and I just rinse it in a disinfecting solution like bleach water and it is ready to use the next time I have to clean without worrying about tranfering jerms from one time to another. I give it 5 stars.

I have benn using scotch brand all my life, specially the sponges but I have notice a couple of years ago that they become bad smelling after the second or third use. I use them to wash my dishes. I used the microwave trick, cleaning them in clorine, squezzing them very hard to keep them as dry as possible, no luck. I remember they use to last a lot without that bad germ or humid odor. Please do something. What happenned?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these for years and intend to continue to do so generally on a daily basis. I use them for washing a dish quick in the sink (instead of the dishwasher) and/or for wiping down the counter in the kitchen, such as my coffee prep area which seems to be the spot that needs the most cleaning...perhaps as I tend to drink coffee more often than actually cooking! I tend to find that they last a decent amount of time and will steralize them by zapping them in the microwave with some water. This is one of those products for which I believe there is no substitute. Nothing even comes close. I have a touch of arthritis and have found that I don't need to apply as much pressure as with some other brands to get the same results. An added bonus is that because they do a better job cleaning the caked and burnt on food I find that I can use less dish detergent. I would never buy another brand.
