Initially I was skeptical about the usefulness of this product but in order to start saving money on all the paper towels we go through in my house, I thought I would try it out. I absolutely love it. And I can keep it sanitized in my dishwasher. Thx- Nikki

I have tried several different sponges and I ALWAYS come back to Scotch-Brite sponges. They last so much longer and work so much better than any other sponge on the market. I've finished trying others and now only buy scotch-brite. I know it is going to do the job I need done with no problem..

After buying the cheaper options for sponges, I saw that I would have to buy them every week. So I upgraded to the Scotch-Brite and realized that they lasted longer. So now I pay the extra money for longer lasting sponges that will save me more money in the long run. Def. recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using the scrubber part and found that it works the same as other scrubbers I've purchased that don't have sponges attached. We don't use our dishwasher, so the sanitizing part won't be happening; we'll have to toss it when through.

I'm a '2nd Generation' user of 3M products and now I'm passing this valued information to the youngsters. The value of 3M is still the best because the sponges last so long. Plus, with the many types of sponges to choose from, I know that my kitchenware won't be damaged in the cleaning process.

Extremely poor quality these days! Hi. We have only used and bought your product over 20 years but the 5 last batches is absolutely of the poorest quality! The scorer side comes off over just a few washes and nothing intensive! Very disappointed and going to try other brands.

How do you review a dish sponge? Here goes, I used this dish sponge with soap. I rubbed it around on my dishes and it worked like any other dish sponge, it grabbed the stuck on food particles and ripped it away from the dish. I'm not even sure if it was my top of the line elbow grease - or this yellow dish sponge.

I have been buying cleaning supplies for more than fifty years, and Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges are quite simply the best scrubber sponges available on this planet, at any price! I buy them in bulk quantities. I keep one sponge in the kitchen for general clean-up duties, a second one nearby just for washing the dishes, a third in the bathroom (it does get rather nasty in there), one in my desk (yes, I have been known to spill my morning java), several in the car (indispensable for windshields and messy passengers), and half a dozen in the garage (for those all-too-frequent "dagnabbit!" moments). If Scotch-Brite products were ever taken off the market I would have a stroke. Simply stated, a world without Scotch-Brite would truly be an unending nightmare! My Last Will and Testament stipulates that a case of Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges be packed inside my coffin! Take it from a grumpy old man who is hard to please; sampling other brands would just be a big waste of your time, effort, and money. Do yourself a favor and buy the very best scrub sponges available! You will pat yourself on the back for being such a savvy shopper!

I have used this sponge for more than 30 years now. I have tried other sponges in the past, but they just didn't do the job correctly, and never lasted as long. The main thing for me was the cleaning part, I have boys and with them growing up there were dozens of boys in my home throughout the years and those boys grew up to be men, and the cooking is more and more so i need a good cleaning sponge and the Scoth Brite Heavy Duty Sponge has been right there helping me along the way with my cleaning chores all these years. These have been my go to for many years. But if my most recent purchase is any indication of where the company has gone, this new cost cutting version has made for a drastically inferior product. It feels like they've used 1/3rd of the sponge material as the old ones, but just made it airy to take up roughly the same amount of space. It works, its still a sponge, but its a definite downgrade from the old product.
