I have bought this particular sponge for years. In the past year, I have noticed that the sponges do not hold their shape for as long, nor does the green scrubby part last as long. After use, I find the green scrubby part will stick to my countertop if I leave it there. In the past, the scrubby part has never fallen apart or degraded. I don't know what has changed, but am not particularly fond of the product as I once was.

I always use the Heavy Duty scrubs when cleaning dishes by hand. I use the scrub side to wipe out all the grime in pots and pans. Then I flip to the sponge side and wipe down dishes, silverware, etc. Then when done, a quick run through the dish washer sanitizes it and it's ready for the next time.

We used to love and buy Scotch Brite heavy Duty sponges exclusively. Will will not be purchasing them anymore, as it is obvious that the makeup of the green scrubber portion has changed recently and barely holds up any more. After relatively minimal use it starts to degrade, and is not able to clean as well as the previous green pad part. Sad day for Scotch Brite- why change when you had such a good thing going?

I have been using these scrub sponges since longer than I can remember. At one time I owned a resturant and decided to buy comercial, unknown brand, scrubs. what a desaster that was. I sent my husband to the grocery store and bought scotch brand scrubs and my cleaning day was saved. Other people have boiught me cheaper and more expencive brands, but, as soon as I an get to a store I buy Scotch brand . Nothing cleans better or lasts longer, I have even washed them and used them again . I liove scotch brands and use them all the time.

These sponges work great on all my really tough and dirty areas around the house. I use them on the bathtub and sinks. On the floors and walls. I also use them in the car to scrub those dirty floor mats. I am always finding new areas to use them. Thanks for a great sponge idea.

The little Scotch Brite held up like a champ when scrubbing the George Foreman grill and the outdoor electric grill. I would simply rinse them clean with some liquid detergent and they were good as new. I keep them in my travel bag too; I take the George Foreman grill on trips, as well as an electric steamer for vegetables. The ScotchBrite is always a big help in clean-up.

I have been using the Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge for years and absolutely love it. Gets off the food without scratching my cookware, gets dried food off my counter tops and after I'm done with them, they head out to the garage for a new life cleaning tires & tools.

Soft dog food comes right off of the bowls with a little scrub-n-tug technique. Soap build up on the shower floor melts away with the same action. They are also handy removing charred foods on my cooking pots and pans.

I love the Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge. They are perfect for all of my cleaning needs. The scrub side works perfect for the stuck on food and the bottom of all of my cookware. No more black on the bottom of my cookware. the sponge side makes all of my dishwashing easy.
