- 4 out of 5 stars review9/28/2011I use the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge on my cast iron pans. The heavy-duty scrub pad helps loosen the burnt on food fast. I am concerned about rust so I do not want to leave water in my pan for prolonged periods. The Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge is perfect for this job.
Good for cast iron fry pan
RikPOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 1 out of 5 stars review9/22/2019I have used this product for years. I can tell they have changed their material, it does not last as long, this scrubing green tip is not the same material. It shreds up like the ones you buy at the dollar store. I will not buy these again until they go back to the quaility material they used to use.

We do not expect the product ... - 5 out of 5 stars review5/10/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M to evaluate. After trying out this sponge, I loved it. Not only was this sponge great for tough, baked-on messes in the kitchen, but it also worked well for outdoor and garage messes as well. What I loved about this sponge was that I could sanitize it in my dishwasher and reuse it again and again.
Great Sponge
KodiakOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/24/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heavy duty scrub sponge works like a charm, use the green side on sticky caked on grime and then turn it over to wipe and see if you cleaned the dirt, if not repeat. Nice to have two items in one.
Wipe and scrub !

Then came the advent of non-stick cookware (which actually isn't). I was faced with two choices -- scratch the non-stick surface or just leave the stuck food on the pot. When I found the heavy-duty Scotch Brite pads, I discovered it really was possible to have the scrubbing ability of steel wool, without the stinky, yucky mess that destroyed my pots and pans. I've been using them ever since!

How often have you reached for a scrubbie of some sort only to find that it is either worn out? Keep the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge on hand for those occasions. Good in the kitchen, patio, barbecue or camper.
Tough and Versatile
LyonetOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/10/2011The heavy duty scrub sponge works excellent on pots and pans, or any thing that is stuck on dishes. And the sponge part of it gives u extra water for scrubbing dishes clean. We use other scotch-brite products and are very happy with all of them. The quality of the product is much better then other brands.

dillOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/15/2010I have been using Scoth-Brite heavy duty sponges for many, many years. I tried other cheaper ones, they fall apart, tear or leave sponge parts on my dishes. I can trust Scotch-Brite sponges for all my cleaning. I keep one in each bathroom, use on stubborn shower doors mold, sink stains, hard water marks...it just seems so much easier when I use a scotch-Brite heavy duty sponge to clean with. In the kitchen, I use on non-stick pots, not a problem, it does not scratch them...my glass top stove, removes the stains, boil-overs, easy as pie.Stainless Steel sinks, works great...no spill is a match for Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponges. Even in my stove, I can use a very moist Scotch-Brite spopnge and get those hard to remove baked on and stuck on f...

mallardypantsOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/17/2010These sponges are great they work on just about everything. When you think that its time to throw it out it just keeps working even on the worst baked on stuff. I will buy them each and every time i do need a new one. and it even works on getting off hard water stains in the shower and sinks.

hotfeetersOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 3 out of 5 stars review7/15/2010I have used these sponges for years and the last few times I purchased them they have not been as strong. They seem to fall apart sooner. The scrubber is fine but the sponge part comes apart and breaks off in pieces. It is frustrating. I wonder if something has changed in the making of this. I used to find these the best but not so much anymore.
Heavy Duty Sponge
NannyFanOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/2/2012Tried other sponges didn't work as good or last as long as my scotch bright heavy duty from wiping counters to cleaning stoves or just doing pot and pans, and any other duties around the kitchen. I'll never go back to useing bargain brands. by katie0
Scotch-Bright Sponges Heavy Duty
Katie0Originally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/23/2011I also use the Scotch Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges, which are ideal for some cookware, but don't cut the mustard for heavy-duty pan cleanup jobs from a roasted turkey or oven-barbecued ribs. The Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Sponges pick up where the other ones leave off, making clean-up jobs a breeze. I haven't found anything else that performs as well as this product. My adult daughter, who has rheumatoid arthritis & no dishwasher to assist her, always has sparkling clean pots and pans thanks to only minimal effort with these heavy-duty sponges.
Heavy Duty Sponges Deliver
BobbiOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/10/2011The Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge is the best overall cleaning product I have ever used. Nothing comes close to it's endless abilities. I use it for cleaning dishes, I use another one for scrubbing the floor, I use one to clean the bathroom. It is good with or without soap. You can clean just even using water. Best product, couldn't live with out it!
Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge Rules
kimmie66Originally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/17/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sponge was provided to me in exchange for my honest review. This sponge is tough and will last for months. One side has the scrubber so you can clean pots and pans with baked on food. The other side is soft for more delicate cleaning. Easily washes clean in the dishwasher. A great sponge for tough kit
Strongest sponge on the market
LaurieskOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/10/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this scotch-brute heavy duty sponge on a pot that had never been cleaned. It took some elbow grease but the pot almost looked new when I finished. The sponge was only slightly worn and will be used again and again.
Durable Sponge
X Not Larry SmithOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/29/2011I buy these sponges in multi-packs. With no automatic dishwasher, I love the way I can clean anything with a Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge. Each evening I put my "used" sponge in a mesh bag. When I run a load of laundry, I just toss my bag of sponges in. Then they're ready to use again!
Cheaper By the Dozen
NWANanaOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/20/2010I have used these for years to wash my dishes. They hold up well, and they scrub well without damaging my dishes and pots and pans. When it gets smelly or dirty but isn't quite ready to be replaced, I put it in the dishwasher and it comes out like brand new.
Good product
ArlyOriginally posted onScotch-Brite.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/13/2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So useful around the house and workshop for just about everything. If you have hobbies you might want to get at least a 6 pack, because you'll find yourself using them in all kinds of ways. Cycling, yard equipment and auto maintenance, arts and crafts, not to mention cleaning around the house! Which is why I say you need quite a few, once you get oil and grease on them, paint, or use one on plumbing you won't want to have to use it to clean the microwave again!
So useful, from the yard to garage to kitchen!
