[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this butter substitute in exchange for my honest opinion and who doesn’t remember the ads for this product when it first came out? This feels like such a nostaligc trip because I remember when the ads were everywhere and even when I first viewed this product in person, I vividly reenacting the iconic “I can’t believe it's not butter?” line from the ads, my favorites were the ones featuring Fabio btw, so picture my surprise when I was offered the chance to test this out and imagine even more of my surprise when I found myself not being able to discern the difference between this and real butter. I loved that this is, like most butter products, by having a buttery yellow tin with a creamy butter design on the front of the tin. It has a red bar at the bottom that mentions which type of butter replacement this is (Original) and goes into more detail on the rest of the product. Something new about this one is that it's a part of the Nutririch label which means that not only is it a better option but also it's a healthier choice. The reason why they mention that it's healthier is that at least one tablespoon of this provides at least 20% of your daily value of essential vitamins (A, D, E, and B12) along with Omega-3 ALA (an essential fatty acid) along with that this has 70% less saturated fats than dairy butter. Also, it's Kosher, if that’s important to you, which after all that information I see why they are going by the slogan “Butter? Better” now because this is butter but better for you. But you didn’t come here for the facts you want to know how it spreads and flavoring when used on products which I will get into now. First, I want to say that I prefer my spread softened so I gave it a bit of time in the room before I started spreading it on my sliders, the meal of choice today, and after adding everything I wanted to the other side, and well I cooked the sliders. This didn’t necessarily melt how you are used to it sitting more visibly compared to what most butter products would do, but that doesn’t disrupt the flavoring of anything you cook it with. I also later cooked eggs with it as well as bacon which also didn’t have a noticeable change in flavor. I did decide that I'd want to try it without the other products and again I didn’t notice a major change compared to other butter products so I truly did notice a feeling of not believing that it's not butter. It spreads really easily so easily it spreads like....well like butter actually It is light and again buttery delicious with the products I’ve used it on and doesn’t take up space on the palete is a healthier option for you takes great on its own and when cooked with other products spreads so easily my butter knife glided through it I’ll just go ahead and rate it a 5/5 great tastes, spreads beautifully, doesn't take away from whatever you are cooking, great price health benefits and its not real butter? This is great I'd definitely suggest it.
