As noted in my review title I installed the first unit but then it was making a really loud noise (way worse than my former regular type AC). I reached out to customer service, who were excellent (I sent them videos and they agreed something wasn't right), and totally on top of everything. I did need to rebox the unit (at 70lbs no easy task) but Windmill sent a shipping label and arranged to have FedEx come to my home to pick it up, which was great, and sent a replacement unit that came very quickly. The replacement unit works very well - it is very quiet as advertised (not silent, that's not possible), but sometimes I do actually forget its on when walking in from another room. So very happy with the replacement unit! One note, unlike other A/Cs, this unit does seem more "precious" or prone to damage, so you need to really handle it carefully to ensure it functions properly, but overall, very happy with the upgrade, and still very happy I went with Windmill!

I just received my new Windmill AC unit and since we're probably through with the heat here in Oregon (hopefully) I asked a friend to help me put it in my storage closet until next year. I'm hoping it will make a difference in my 1-bedroom apartment. I'll be happy to do a review next summer. I'm looking forward to the quiet it promises. Thanks for what you do.

Let’s face it! The heat is not cool, specially when you are in a tiny room with a lot of work to do! This saved me, literally, I feel more productive and less grumpy, plus it was soooo easy to install that I did it myself, a person who knows nothing about installations, give it a try you wont regret it!

Though I was thoroughly pleased with my windmill AC unfortunately I had a situation and the unit wasn't operating correctly. Frankly, I was concerned that the only way to communicate with customer service was through email, but my concerns were eased when they responded quickly. After working with me to try to correct the problem they decided that the unit should be replaced and had a replacement shipped within 2 business days. Their customer service team is superior to any other company I have ever had to deal with! I am now, again, enjoying the comfort my ac provides.

Love my WhisperTech air conditioner so much that I bought two. They are so easy to install and do a great job keeping my rooms cool. One unit I received rattled a bit, but customer service was quick to replace it for me. Excellent service team - everyone was so responsive and helpful.

The Windmill Airconditioner (6,000 BTU) is the best design I've ever seen. Truly a thing of beauty. The packaging provided for installation was also the best. The company thought of everything to provide for an aesthetic installation especially the added side insulation. The unit is quiet and works efficiently. Every convenience you can think of both App and Voice-enabled.

This is the 3rd purchase of your A/C and I must say that the main reason for purchasing them is because of their quietness and they are quiet. I like the idea of having them connected to my phone it makes it easier to turn them off or on or adjust them without having to physically go to each room. As a bonus they do look a lot nicer than our other ones that where replaced .

The unit is very attractive, though mine arrived with a slight dent in the housing. Installation was fairly easy, though I had to adapt it a bit due to my storm windows. It cools very well, however it does rattle and buzz. I had to tape the filter to the unit to stop vibration noise. I am least satisfied with the way the unit and app communicate. I have deleted and reinstalled it, but the app always registers the room temp as 67 and watts used as 20. There is a long lag between turning the unit on in the app and it actually coming on. I had it set at 68 and when I woke up, the display on the unit read 59--a little too cold.

I had an issue arise with my unit cooling, which was still under the one year warranty, and when I contacted customer service they had me try a few fixes but when the fixes didn’t work the company sent me out a new unit quickly. They were helpful and replaced my unit without any problems or delays.

The Customer service team was super helpful with a little installation issue I had. So far, I am super happy with my windmill ac. It looks amazing. One of my only suggestions would be the ability to have more than 3 fan speeds. Mostly just a couple of quieter ones. When I sleep the first level isn't so bad, but while I'm awake doing things it would be nice for it to be just a little bit quieter.
