I went through a bit of a three bears process with my Windmill in order for it to work optimally, but now that it’s not in direct, glaring sunlight, it’s magic. The customer service was off the charts amazing. The unit itself is beautiful, easy to install, and so convenient to control by phone. And I prize that it’s a more environmentally-friendly design. Overall, I’m in love with my Windmill AND with the brand experience, which counts for a lot. It’s a great product and a great company.

I ordered a Windmill Whispertech AC and it was super loud. I was walked through a very comprehensive troubleshooting process and it did not fix the issue. They overnighted me a new AC unit at no additional cost. The new unit is amazing. It is so quiet - incomparable to regular window units. It also does a great job of cooling down my house. I live in a small Cape Cod and this one AC cools the entire first floor (with the help of some ceiling fans!).

I've been pleased thus far with my Windmill window ac unit. Installation was easy, like how the unit blends into the room, and enjoy how quiet it is during operation as well as how quickly it cools the room. Had an issue with the first unit but customer service was excellent and remedied the problem. Looking forward to continued use of this great unit.

I'm pleased to have a working AC... Yesterday was the first day I turned it on. The several different sounds it makes are distracting. Will I get used to them? That's why a 3 star. I was expecting a 9x quieter AC as was advertised. The staff were / are so nice... I really hope these are only the break-in period sounds. Joan

I think overall this is a very good window AC unit, the design is very clean and looks better than most options out there. The app is also nice and easy to use. Install was a breeze and the packaging was thoughtful. It also cools very very well. But the issue is NOISE. With this being the WhisperTech model I was expecting it to be very quiet but the condenser is pretty noticeable. We do not even use the low setting as the condenser is most noticeable then. So now we are only using the Medium Cool setting and sometimes the noise is minimal but sometimes the condenser really kicks up and almost is buzzing. I might just recommend people to buy the standard Medium 8000 BTU option as I am not sure how great this new WhisperTech really is.

I got a replacement sent as the original unit I bought was not blowing cool air. The replacement doesn’t either. It does not lower the temperature in the room at all, and the space it’s cooling is less than 250 sq feet. When I first turned it on, it blew cooler air for about ten minutes then became room temperature: This air conditioner does not work. Very disappointed.

I bought the larger one for my living room and the smaller one for the bedroom. They both look and work amazing. Set up was super easy and I love that I can control it from my phone. I also bought the teal color cover as it matches my color theme in my bedroom. It's definitely more quiet then conventional air conditioners. It hasn't been too hot her in CT but the few times I have used them it cooled things down quickly. The only thing I cant figure out is where and how to install the carbon filter. I scan the QR code on the filter and it doesn't take me to instructions for installation, it takes me to an order form to order more.

For most people an AC is an AC. I find that the Windmill 350sf AC has all of the modern features I want and a pleasing design. But my favorite thing about purchasing from Windmill directly through their website is that they care. I had two issues that most people would typically describe as a negative experience, but the way they handled it was impressive. I felt like l was dealing with a person that cared about their job and their company. Their attention, attitude and response exceeded my expectations. I don’t know of a better company to do business with. The installation kit is one of the best I’ve seen. The unit was the best fitting window ac I’ve used. The pieces locked in better and the hardware was complete. If you’ve installed window AC’s before, you will appreciate how great this unit is. The solid, foam, trim panels that cover accordion baffles on the side of the unit can be trimmed (with the included scissors) for a sleek look, light diffusing, insulated zone. The rails for the accordion baffles have measurements on them so you know where to trim them. The app is great, the programming offers you many ways to control your cooling. It lets you see power consumption, operate it manually or pick from a variety of schedules. I’m happy to support Windmill and will share this experience with my friends. —- My only suggestion is to make the remote magnetic so that it can stick to the side of the case.

If you’re looking for a window air conditioner that can circulate the air (not blow directly on you), look sleek, easy to install with full proof instructions, can be operated remotely, and is QUIET - I recommend the WINDMILL air conditioner! I’ve done my research and they’ve obviously done theirs! I could not be more pleased and I promise that you will be as well! Oh … and on top of all this, they have an amazing customer service!! Please do yourself a favor and enjoy the the hot summer months with a cool and quiet environment indoors!

We absolutely LOVE our Windmill Air ACs. We have two historic houses, both of which don't have central AC. We've struggled to find ACs that work well, are efficient, and also look nice with our historic architecture. We've tried every portable AC under the sun – they don't work great, blow hot air and take up a lot of floor space. Enter Windmill Air! I couldn't be more thrilled – they were super easy to install (seriously, easiest install for any product I've ordered in years! They even include scissors!), and are really helping to take the edge off the summer humidity here in coastal Massachusetts. I've told everyone I know about these ACs because they've made a huge difference in us being able to enjoy being indoors in the summer. I couldn't recommend them enough! If you are looking for a beautiful window unit that blows some serious cold air, get these ACs.
