Customer reviews for LG 27 cu. ft. Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator forPerfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a couple of months ago and it works perfectly! There is plenty of room and we have been without a fridge that makes ice and water for a long time. We don't regret spending the money and I would recommend this appliance.
Air filter defect
Air filter problem!! The replacement filters are in square frames, yet the filter holder is rhombus shaped! The factory filter had no frame and was inserted on a slant. I bought this fridge in January and It is time to change the filter. There are no air filters on the market (even by LG!) that will fit the filter receptacle. Help, LG!

Improved Over Older Model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second French Door LG refrigerator, first was very reliable for eight years…..except for the in-door ice maker. It never worked well, sporadic at best. This new one has the ice maker inside the freezer as God intended, and boy what a nice difference. Plenty of ice all of the time. Lots of extra space in the fridge section door pockets now, deeper too. Shelves have adequate adjustment, and this freezer just one door, not two as before. Less to go wrong, ample space, sliding inside drawers. Nice. Also did counter depth model this time, fits our space much better. Off to a great start. Very satisfied.
Love my refrigerator
Bought this refrigerator a year ago have loved it ever since probably the nicest refrigerator I've ever owned keeps things very cold the stainless steel finish does not smudge or show fingerprints I wasn't sure at first about the bottom freezer but I really love it now that I've used it excellent product I would highly recommend
Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience with the LG LRFLC2706S French 3‑Door Refrigerator. It’s wonderful to hear that after a full year of use, it’s still your favorite refrigerator. The strong cooling performance, smudge‑resistant stainless‑steel finish, and the convenience of the bottom freezer clearly made a great impression. We’re glad it’s been such a reliable addition to your home. If you need further assistance, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. #LifesGood ❤️ LG Digital Care Team ^Rich
Needs Improvement
We like LG so replaced our 20yr old refrig with this - the closest to our old model. Some major design issues, unfortunately, they've gone backward. #1. The deep doors are annoying; unless packed full, the items clank around with each door open/close. Additionally, they make the refrigerator well past counter-depth. #2. If you open the right door first, and afterward decide to open the left side also... Look out! the vertical flap on the left door will not retract and can slam your hand if it's in the way when it's time to close the doors. #3.The deli-tray: It's crazy there is a solid top across it, that requires fully opening both doors to grab something that is right there. Our old version had a flip-up lid and I may cut this solid surface off and reinstall it with a hinge. #4. Fruit & vegetable bins have handles at the bottom, so it's ergonomically inefficient to pull open, then go up and inside the deep well; why not pull from the top to start with? #5. The ice bin in the freezer quickly turns cubes into a solid mass. Not sure what's up there.

Cannot locate a bypass filter for this model
Only have the fridge a couple days, this is left of a review and more of a question for the community or LG to respond. We have reverse osmosis, so I have no need for the water filter. In my search for a bypass filter, there is nothing mentioned in the manual, and the third party company that supports parts and accessories says the bypass filter they have does not fit this model. There has to be a solution for a bypass filter … I don’t want to buy a new filter in 6 months but also do not want to leave that filter in indefinitely. Does anyone know of a solution here?
Great refrigerator at great price point
I have this refrigerator for about two weeks now. We wanted clean looking without a water and ice dispenser from the front of the door. Stainless steel is nice looking and stays clean. Water dispenser from inside is easy and water tastes good. Makes nice clear ice cubes of a good size. Only complaint is that you occasionally hear the ice maker. Overall love the frig. Lots of room for everything, with especially deep door storage.
Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It’s wonderful to hear how much you’re enjoying your LG Refrigerator (LRFLC2706S) model. This unitl offers a clean, modern look without external dispensers, while still giving you the convenience of an easy‑to‑use internal water dispenser and beautifully clear ice from the built‑in ice maker. Its spacious interior, deep door bins, and flexible storage design make it a great fit for keeping everything organized. For the occasional sound from the ice maker, we understand this can happen as part of normal operation when ice is being produced or dropped into the bin. Ensuring the refrigerator is level can help minimize operational noise. Incredible space efficiency
We bought this fridge after a builder grade KitchenAid fridge died. We had some apprehension about LG fridges but read all the great things about their new compressor. I was stunned by the on paper capacity of this counter depth fridge and man it does not disappoint. Way way more spacious and functional door storage makes this fridge incredible. It’s simple. No door ice which is good for reliability. Doesn’t have custom humidity for crispers but I’m okay with that. The space space space makes up for it
Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience with the LRFLC2706S. It’s great to hear the Counter‑Depth MAX™ design is delivering exactly what you were hoping for—especially that impressive interior space and the highly functional door storage. The simplified design without door ice definitely helps with long‑term reliability, and it’s wonderful to know the capacity and layout have exceeded your expectations after switching from your previous fridge. Poor interior quality
Who is the genius who design these shelves. My previous LG French door interior was true quality. Bad compressor after 10 years, needed to replace it. Got this and regret it, saw it in the store and realized it was different. Didn't realized until it was installed in my kitchen. Poor interior parts, cheap everything, shelves, drawers, no glide and slide features, and who design these hard to adjust shelves which are I assume suppose to snap together, just getting them out and putting them back is a nightmare and they are very flimsy. took me great time to try and snap them together to adjust for tall containers. Don't know if they will take much weight, looks a little unbalanced. LG has reduced it quality!!
Hello! We're disheartened to hear that your replacement refrigerator hasn't lived up to your expectations, but we're here to reassure you that our appliance development team uses reviews just like yours to see how we can do better in the kitchen, so thank you! ^Ian
Great capacity for a counter depth.
The capacity of this refrigerator is great. The specs. say you should have 1/4 inch on each side of the refrigerator. My opinion is that you need more. It is very tight and doesn't allow space for air flow around it. We built the refrigerator enclosure based on the specs and wish we had more room. I think LG should update the specs.
