uncomfortable for tall people

I love this refrigerator, but as a tall person I will never buy it. It is extremely inconvenient to bend down to open the doors from the bottom, and there are no finger grooves on the top of the doors. While it may not seem like a big deal, it is. Having to lean down at an uncomfortable angle just to open the fridge door several times a day for the next 10 plus years makes it a no for me. significant design misstep

Lots of space but a few flaws

For a countertop depth fridge, there's lots of space. And it's very quiet. However the doors hinge oddly, causing the doors to swing out wide. The result is that the whole unit has to be pulled out further to give clearance for the door swing. Also, you have to make to actually push the doors shut or they will not close fully. Kind of annoying, and I hope I don't accidentally forget to give them a push!

NOISY ICE MAKER

My LG refrigerator has a very noisy icemaker which has been replaced since I bought it with an equally noisy icemaker . This design needs to be revisited.

LG Refrigerator

The refrigerator is relatively quiet, the double doors are very convenient & freezer has plenty of storage. However, the water filter resulted in tiny clear particles in the water so it is unusable and I have not stopped drinking bottled water.

Terrible customer service from Sam's Club

We ordered this refrigerator on September 14th from Sam's Club and have yet to receive it as of November 20th. We have made multiple calls to Sam's Club, who eventually foisted us off onto the delivery service, who then eventually foisted us off onto LG. The issue is that nobody knows where the refrigerator is, and until they find it, they won't issue us a refund. It seems to us that Sam's Club is the one that should resolve this, since we bought the fridge from Sam's Club, and that they should issue the refund so that we can purchase another refrigerator, and resolve the whereabouts issue behind the scenes without our involvement. We are posting this review because I would hate for anyone else to go through this experience. Order a big-ticket item from Sam's Club at your own risk!

not sure why they call refrigerators durable goods anymore. our first LG refrigerator lasted only two and a half years. will never purchase another one again. especially if they have the parallel compressor which is known to be faulty and they don't stand by their warranty. suggestion to everyone considering an LG or Samsung- don't buy them!

DON'T DO IT SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. IVE HAD IT FOR 7 YEARS. THEY PREATTY MUCH HAVE REPLACED THE COMPRESSOR TWICE. ICE MAKER AND ALL THE PARTS INSIDE. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE INSURANCE AND DONT LET IT EXPIRE. YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE COMPRESSOR WITH IN 3 TO 4 YEARS. THEY REPLACE IT WITH SAME PARTS. EXPECT TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS OVER AND OVER. LG WARRANTY SUCKS SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE INSURANCE. WHAT A HEADACHE IM DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE AGAIN. STAY AWAY FROM LG PRODUCTS.
