It's got a beautiful interface and is very fast and stable. No problems and this is coming from a former Roku user. Updates are more better then Roku in the sense that you don't have to wait 2 weeks after one of your Roku's get an update. It has more storage and is more fast.

It's a good device but I really can't use the remote. If I didn't have nerve damage and arthritis it would be fine. My fingers shake some and causes the remote to go crazy. I wish I could turn off the sensor and just use button presses. It took me more time then it should to use my sound bar and not the TV volume. I have to reset it often. Much better then a firestick or google TV device. Price is kind of steep for what it does compared to the Roku Ultra at half it's price. I do like the Roku much much better and the locater remote on Roku is fantastic.

The unit is more than just functional it has engineered elegance as do all Apple products. Compared to the roku 4K it is very heavy where the roku is light and cheap. The unit is fast and responsive when navigating the screens. Fast chip. The remote is solid aluminum and cold to the touch. Apple tv free for 3 months and Apple released a ton of content this year. Well worth the extra cost compared to fire, roku etc. And I am not an apple fanatic. Enjoy!

We've tried Google devices, Roku, and we switched them all to AppleTVs a few years ago. Yes, the AppleTV is the most expensive "mainstream" streaming device. But it is also the best performing and best user experience. I purchased this to replace an older AppleTV HD. It is sooo much faster to use when it comes to updating and installing updates. My old AppleTV HD would take almost 40 minutes to install a system update. This AppleTV takes about 15 minutes at most (depending on internet speed to download).

Excellent product. We had three different streaming devices and this was the first one that to date we have had zero issues with it. It works very similar to an iPhone so for my wife it was very intuitive. Our only frustration was that we didn’t try an Apple TV device prior to all the others that never really worked as designed.

Makes streaming services work that much better and so much less lag. Love that I can use Apple Fitness directly on my TV. Other side benefit is I can download some shows / movies for when my internet goes down, which with all the construction near our subdivision is very often! Highly recommend. Also worth picking up in Amazon the silicone remote cover so it won't scratch remote / make it more durable. Love that remote is rechargeable via usb-c

Best streamer on the market. I've tried them all including the so-called GOAT Nividia shield. The apple 4k blows them all away. Roku, Fire stick or Cube, Chromecast 4K, or TIVO. NONE come close to how clean, quick, and efficient this device is. I don't know why I didn't buy an Apple 4K streamer or any Apple years ago. I'll never go back. This device is a no-brainer

Bought this to replace a Chromecast Ultra, and this is just better. The picture quality is better, I can actually sign in to YouTube (why did Google remove that on Chromecast?) and everything works and plays correctly. It would be much easier to set up with an iPhone, but I have an Android device so I had to painstakingly type my password in with the onscreen keyboard which took several minutes (long random alphanumeric password). Otherwise, setup was very easy.

Another great Apple product! I love this box. If you don’t have a smart tv this Apple TV will turn any TV into a smart tv! You can have all your apps that you need to stream. If you stream stuff straight from your phone or other device then you can mirror it to the box and it works perfect on your tv. I love that the most about it! Everything is crisp, fast and clean as you get with all apple products! If you have a smart tv already then it’s really just an extra apple accessory and not really necessary. Haha Great product as usual by Apple though!

You have to love apple. Hold your phone or ipad close enough and everything connects. I did go through the apps and added several of them and now I am good to go. Our ISP is Blue Stream and apple had an app for them that works better than the provided streaming box from Blue Stream. Very cool.
