Excellent video and audio digital signal via HDMI connection to my Onkyo 4K 9.2 channel a/v receiver. Impressed with the improved video and sound of speakers connected to my main system. However, I was unable output sound to my Zone 2 amplifier thru the Onkyo. I subsequently discovered that Zone 2 on my home theater system requires an analog signal which is not provided by the Apple TV 4k unit or Onkyo - the a/v receiver only passes thru the signal. In order to pass sound to the Zone 2 amplifier, the solution was the installation of a DAC device between the Apple TV 4K unit and the a/v receiver to split the digital signal, providing HDMI to connect to a/v receiver and an analog connection to connect the Zone 2 amplifier. Apple should provide a DAC port of this device. - I can’t be the only person that has remote speakers connected to an amplifier with analog connectors. The touch pad is too sensitive and found it not easily used. There should be a better way to control its sensitivity.
