I got this unit for my aging mother and am happy so far. Assembly was fairly simple and the suction feet in the tub are like glue, which is what I wanted. Very light and easy to move. I think that the price is a bit high, but it was the best I could find.

This tub transfer bench is such a help after leg surgery. The extra length is wonderful for sliding in and out of the shower more easily, and for keeping water in the tub, not on the floor. I wrapped the shower curtain around one side as another reviewer suggested. The bench is sturdy and and roomy.

I ordered this from my bed online with help from my occupational therapist. It is exactly what I had while having back surgery, broken foot, and broken ribs. It arrived the next day. Best price and excellent product. I am so grateful that it arrived the next day b4 I got home. Assembly easy.

I am so glad I bought this after my Achilles surgery. It straddles the tub wall so I just sat on the end outside the tub and slid myself in. The back rest can go on either side depending which leg you need to hang out of the tub. I am a big woman and this was more than perfect for me. I strongly recommend this for anyone who is non-weighbearing.

This is an awesome chair. Very well made and heavy duty. But, much too large for my tub and small bathroom. The legs and handle rested in the middle of my tub. When I sat down I was more towards the edge of the tub. Which made it impossible for me to use my hand held shower. This would be perfect for a walk-in shower.

The tub bench is very sturdy making the user feel more secure. It works well for anyone that has trouble lifting their legs to get in the tub. Sitting on the outside part of the bench and then turning makes it easy to get in the tub. Also, they can remain seated while washing.

It is a good chair. Seems well made and fairly easy to adjust. My 86 year old mother is able to use it without any difficulty. My only complaint is that it seems a little pricey. For what it is constructed of, I would think about $20 cheaper would be a fair price.

The shower/tub bench was for my father, to replace his old one. This one is so much better because it is grey instead of white and I love the suction cups on the legs which are wonderful plus you have more extension with the legs than his previous one.

Seems very sturdy and has been exactly what we were looking for. My husband is 6'2" and 240 lbs and hurt his knee and the other knee was already hurting, so he basically just falls down on the seat - the suction feet in the tub hold it in place - he doesn't worry about falling. Had a little trouble putting it together because one of the places for the handle was not round and therefore the handle wouldn't insert, but my father was able to round it out with a crowbar so it finally worked. The only complaint I have is that we need to take it out of the tub for when our children are bathing and it seems to hold water in the legs somewhere that always drips out when moving it.

Why won't this chair fit over a 21.5 inch tub. you list it for 22.5 inch. Outside legs are at max length and if I level seat the out side legs are 1/2 inch off floor and bar lies tub but if I extend outside legs to 10 setting it gets over it but at a steep angle
