Found product useless with a shower curtain. Impracticable unless you like your bathroom floor drenched. More effort to clean up mess created than willing to undergo. A simple shower chair with bath grip bars much safer to attempt use. Chair = dry floor.

This bench set up quickly and is very sturdy. The two feet in the tub have wide suction cup bottoms and the two feet out of the tub have rubberized feet, both of which help to make this bench non-skid. I am very tall and would like if the support handle used in the tub side was able to be made taller, but other than that, this bench is great.

This transfer shower seat is well built. The legs are very sturdy and will accommodate a very large person, but the legs are angled outward so they don't fit next to the tub wall. The seat bar is also angled outward keeping it away from the wall. The legs that fit in the floor sit further out in the floor than my previous seat so I tripped over it as soon as it was put in the tub. If I had a larger tub or just a shower stall this seat probably would have been perfect, but I had to give it 4 stars because it would not fit and it did not leave enough room for the shower curtain to enter the tub.

I bought the plastic transfer bench to replace an older one given to me by my dad that was falling apart and rusting. I was afraid that the price paid meant that it wouldn't be very sturdy. Much to my surprise, it was very sturdy and I'm very pleased with the purchase. The 2 "inside" legs have suction cups which mean that the bench won't accidentally slide during my shower.

I purchased this item because I have a leg amputation and was moving to a new residence. My old residence had a shower only. My new residence has a tub and shower. Tubs are too slippery for me to stand. I found that this chair does not adjust enough for my tub. I had to purchase a piece of wood to place on the floor outside the tub for this chair to be level. OTher then that the chair works fine for me.

For those of us in the paraplegic world, we need stability and dependability with our adaptive equipment, especially as we age. Drive had always been those characteristics that we need, plus quality and ease of assembly. 1. Easy to put together without tools, just click and adjust. 2. Stabilizing suction cups in tub, hold the chair firmly in place for safe transferring. 3. Dependability and understanding of what their customer needs make this the premier chair for my needs. This was easy to put together, light weight to move in and out of the tub, and very sturdy.
