With the bench extending outside the bathtub, I feel safer and more comfortable getting into and out of the tub (plan for some water messes outside the tub because of the extension). A set up point not given in the directions...for use in the bathtub...adjusting for the floor of tub (higher) to that of bathroom floor (lower), I lowered the 2-legs inside the tub from those outside to get a level bench configuration.

After searching several websites and finding many similar benches I selected this one from Walmart. It appeared to be a good quality product for a reasonable price. When I received it, my assumptions were correct. I found it to be of excellent quality, easy to assemble and very sturdy. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

When putting this chair together the little 'ball' (in one of the legs) that allows height adjustment became dislodged and fell into the leg. After hours of failing to re position the ball I resorted to rigging it up with something else. The chair itself is sturdy and functions well but I shouldn't have had the problems with it that I did after paying almost $55.00 for it.

Very good. Works well even in a smaller, tight bathroom. My physical therapy technician showed me how to use it effectively. However, I need something free standing outside the tub to grab on when I am trying to exit the tub. I am using a folding Cosco brand 2 step stool that has rubber hand grip and non-slip feet for support. .

This is a fabulous product at such a great value! My son was able to easily and quickly assemble this upon delivery to my door! It has gotten a lot of use after my first knee replacement and will continue being utilized with my second knee replacement. I have already recommended purchasing health equipment through Walmart.com to my physical therapist, which will reach a larger audience! Thank you!

We liked everything about it. My husband had ankle surgery and is in a cast and could not put any weight on his foot. Love the security of sitting down on it outside the tub and swinging around into the tub. The suction cups do not let it move. We started out just with a single shower stool in the tub and it was very scary trying to get over to the wobbly stool in the tub. The adjustable legs let you get a level seat to sit on to transfer into tub. Highly recommend!

Love this bench seat! I am lucky to have a nice big shower enclosure (approx 4x4 ft), but with the arthritis in my knees wanted a replacement for my old shower chair that broke. This bench seat is sturdy enough for my 230 lbs, wide enough to be easy to sit down safely even with soap in my eyes, and the one arm is enough to give me that extra boost up when my knees are hurting (the suction cup feet hold very securely to the bottom of the shower). Very happy with this purchase.

I haven't used it yet but it appears able to do the job and well made. My only problem is that Fedex, again, destroyed the box with a large large section pushed in and the cardboard torn. To my relief if appears that all the parts are intact and I will find out when I try to assemble it.

He loves it, the adjustable back rest we don't use , so if need be set off and not used, but the rubber feet stops the movement (yes) adjustable height for us tall people The handle to help placing it around , light weight for the move as well. And my husband wanted me to add it doesn't give you waffle butt. hold to his weight as well.

This transfer bench is exam what it says it is. It is easily adjustable. It may not seem sturdy but it easily supports my 280lbs. Since Medicare doesn't cover shower chairs this is more than worth its price. If you just need a little help in and out of the tub to safely shower this is a perfect solution.
