We live in an area that the power goes off quite frequently. So we have already used the generac several times. I love it comes on automatically within minutes, and shuts off when the power comes back on. I wish we would have purchased one earlier. I highly recommend them!

Less than two weeks after having our whole house generator installed, a wind storm passed through our state and knocked out our power for three days. Having two 80+ year old in-laws with medical conditions living with us made the power provided by the generator a literal life saver. I would highly recommend the Generac generator. My wife says it is the best investment that we have made in the last 25 years.

We bought the 22 kw generator after a couple of storms and a small hurricane left us without power for days, shortly after we had our Generac installed late in the afternoon we lost power the generator cranked within seconds and had full power restored, Great feeling and that night we had lost power for 4 hrs. Prior to this generator I had a carrier 42KW. You would think a larger generator would be a lot louder but you would be wrong. This generator so far has service the Basic needs at 22kW. I built my new home directly across the street from my old residence. When power went out the generator was so loud it woke me up. I went outside to see if I could hear the old generator running. I literally had to walk across the street up to about 20 feet from the home before I could hear the old generator running over the new one. I guess when your power goes out you don't mind the noise. It would be a huge improvement if they could insulate their generator better to reduce noise.

No one wants to be without electricity and it’s great knowing we won’t. And, in our case, we raise poultry so we can’t jeopardize losing our incubator, coop heaters, water heaters or lightning. No matter the season in Indiana we rely on our Generac. We recently upgraded from a 17KW to the 22KW and couldn’t be more pleased.

I purchased my Generac and the installer that represented Generac was wonderful explained everything and was done in a timely fashion. The Generator was up and running and with in a few days I lost electric for 12 hours and the generator kicked in and we where lite up like a Christmas tree at night when our neighbors where in the dark. ( felt bad) since then we have lost power two more times (this is so un usual for us) since then. I have been telling everyone that will listen to me they have to get one. It has more than paid for it self since my husband is handicapped and must have electric. Thank you for a great product. Gerry

I bought one of the first automatic standby Generacs years ago. I hope the new one is as good as the old. The old one was plug and play on the wiring. New one is more difficult on wiring. Have to call or go on Internet to activate. They don't want the average homeowner to install, that's a missed opportunity. Good unit so far.

I was very impressed in the entire process. The initial survey to determine my needs, installation, and customer service have been top notch. Earlier this week we had a storm and lost power for 1/2 hour. The system worked flawlessly!!! You can not go wrong with Generac. Their certified installers are very well trained.

We have a farm an when power goes out we have nothing! not even a tractor generator, so when we lose power its not good. now that we have a Generac generator we don't have to worry anymore. thank you Steve we love our Generac. An we have already had to use it!

I think the washer will be great. It has good features for different uses, however, the first time we used it the high pressure water hose failed. Blew a hole in it. The company was quick to replace it, (but just saying.) Don't know if this is a common problem or just an odd occurance. Will know more after additional use.
