Great installation job by the company I selected. Only twice has the generator kicked in but each time was a source of relief knowing I had power. It is the 22kw air cooled and seems to power the house entirely, at least the appliances I had to use and the cooling/heating system. Lag time was approx 30 to 1 min but there was power thereafter. Just long enough where you do have to reprogram the clocks on the microwave and stove, etc. The generator is situated in a nice outside structure which seems durable. I also liked the fact it was bolted to the cement and there was a shroud that covered the bolted area. It is associated with some noise but is markedly different from the portable generators (my neighbor has one and I can hear it clear across a field at least 200 yards. Appears to be low maintenance with the generator cycling to check itself I believe twice monthly. I have yet to see it cycle. Will contact the installation company when oil change , etc is needed. Overall, I believe it was worth the investment for piece of mind and also safety and comfort. So far looks good and works great.

The generator installation was just finished, the installer did a great job but I had already contracted with him not knowing he was not on Generacs 'list'. So, unfortunately, I did not get the Generac 'special' $895 7-year warranty. I am very disappointed with Generac in that respect but the generator should provide me with piece of mind for years to come.

Installed Dec 2019, Westhaven, would listen to it start up and run every two weeks for 10 minutes to keep itself ready. Power went out January 2021 for two days, it fired up 10 seconds after power went out and never shut down. Ran everything in the house no problem and we were the only ones around able to do everything we normally do in our house. Had friends come over in the morning to go duck hunting and they said it was weird as we were only home with lights on. Best investment ever !!!!!!!!

Live in Hurricane prone area, wanted backup power. Holly Electric (Lake City,FL), did the install. Install techs were James, Johnny and Dillon. Install was quick 4 hours. Decided to go with the Generac unit after much research into total home generators. Capacity, warranty, fuel consumption, cold weather kit and Consumer Reports ratings were all factors that went into our decision to purchase this unit. We met with 4 different manufacturers installers and by FAR were most impressed with the Generac dealer/installer we chose. Roessner Energy associates walked us thru the installation process during estimate and before install. Even in 90+ degree heat they finished in 6 hours and with a pro clean up too. Can't recommend this combination enough if your wanting a top notch job.

I had a 22kW Generator installed, model: 7043-11. During the simulated power outage the generator come on after 5-6 seconds. We had our first schedule test run last Saturday afternoon and it ran perfectly. I feel confident that we will be protected during a storm. This model also comes with built in wifi and mobile link features!

My Generac generator was just installed last week in Mi. I lose power a lot and this 22k generator should be exactly what I need! The look of the generator is very very nice for a large item! Budget Electric and Generators installed it in hours, and the job turned out very nice for where my city made me place it!! They are an excellent company in Clinton Twp. Mi. Having a generac generator gives me piece of mind if my power goes out. My section of the neighborhood is the last to have power Reconnected after an outage-last time it took 4 days. Now I don't have to worry anymore. The generator excercise(Test runs itself) and sends me and the installer an email that everything is working fine. That is a great feature to have

We have had our generator for 3 weeks now and has ran a total of 3 hrs due to power outage. There has been no issues during this time. Installation was smooth and installers were very helpful. Generac could update software to include notifications when generator turns on.

Riverview Construction/ The Generator shop in Slidell, La. was our provider. Once we were informed of our install date, everything was flawless. Install team were very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Generac. They certainly have a winning operation from start to finish.
