Have piece of mind when winter storm warnings are predicted; don't want another experience like ice storm of 2009 where we were without power for weeks. Installer did a professional job at installation. Took extra time to install elevated surface so snow drifts won't restrict exhaust during run time. Looks great and runs on time, every time.

My wife and I had a Generac 22kw Guardian Series Backup generator installed when we built our home 5 years ago. We haven't really needed for any long period of time until Hurricane Matthew. We were without utility power for two days (very fortunate compared to many). Our Generac kept us fully powered and cool for the entire time!

No more messing around with a portable generator, trying to pull the cord to start it, filling it, being sure we have enough cans of gas for an emergency! Hoping we are home when the power goes out so that we can start the generator going, or if it runs out of fuel. With our Generac 22KW Guardian whole-house generator, we don’t have to worry. Nice-looking unit. So quiet compared to portable generators. Best features:Transfer switch kicks on automatically whenever there is a power outage. Powers up and checks itself periodically, green light/yellow light/red light alerts us if something is wrong. Overall, a great investment that adds value to our Florida home if/when we want to sell. The process was absolutely seamless from the initial inquiry to the actual installation. I was kept informed evry step along the way and I am completely satisficed with my new whole home generator. We live in a remote location and our home is primarily all electric. We wanted a solution to be able to keep the house running like normal, even if we were away for extended periods. This model gave us the ability to not worry about what would and wouldn’t work during an outage. We already had a short few hour outage and everything worked like normal while we were away. We only knew there was an outage because the neighbour texted us to say our generator kicked in and all was good. Now that is peace of mind!

We just moved into a 15 year-old house with a sump pump and could not afford to have the electricity go out. Because we live in Connecticut where Eversource is a terrible supplier of power since every major storm knocks our power out for about 6 days, this unit has been very reliable since we had it installed in 2010. We have had three power outages of 6 days in that time, the latest from Tropical Storm Isaias which knocked out power for over 700,000 customers this past week. The generator started and ran for 6 days with no problems as it always has, powering 80% of our home with a steady, even supply of power. We have two propane tanks holding just over 200 lbs. of propane so the generator can run for 6 days without a refill. After six days we get the oil changed and the tanks refilled so it can go further, but usually right when we do that the power is restored. So this generator has been perfect for us. The unit has been hit by lightning once (we live on a 600 foot mountain on the top of it) so the motherboard has been replaced, and the engine recently needed to have its rubber oil seals replaced as it was leaking a little oil, but besides that the unit has held up tremendously well. If we need to replace it we will definitely buy Generac again as we have many times over saved a lot of money by not needing to go to a hotel when our power is out since we live on well water and without water - you cannot stay home very long even if you stock up on it.

I haven’t had to use it yet, but I am sure that when the power does go out, I will be set to go. The team was wonderful from the first contact on the phone to the installers. Everyone is knowledgeable and patient and very helpful. All of my questions were answered and any hesitation I had has disappeared. I had a couple of questions after installation and the woman on the phone answered them all. Adams electric in WI did the installation and gets 5 stars.

The Generator Centre staff were very knowledgeable and professional. The installation was done efficiently. I cannot comment on the performance of the generator itself as it was installed on April 20th and the propane tanks have not been installed as of yet. We have not used the generator.
