This dryer accommodates all of our needs easily. It dries everything quickly and evenly. I installed a standalone vent because our shop didn't have an outside vent. It works very well!

Bought this dryer 7 months ago. It failed and needed heater repaired 3 months into owning the unit. It just failed again this time catching on fire. This is a poorly designed unit. Laughable engineering from a multi billion dollar company. We even purchased a vacuum attachment to clean the lint trap since all the lint falls into the unit when opening the trap. Still Samsung blamed me stating that it's my job to maintenance the unit and clean out lint, the fire was due to improper maintenance. I have never had a dryer catch fire due to lint caught in the inner components. This has had issues twice in 7 months. Avoid this unit like the plague

The SmartThings app adds to the level of convenience - I’m notified when the load finishes through the TV if watching and on the phone. There is as well a fun song when the cycle is complete. We have 6 people doing laundry in our house so the load capacity also reduces the amount of time needed to get all of our laundry done! The only downfall is I don’t see an interior light in the dryer when the doors open. If that’s the only downfall, it’s still a great dryer!

With the auto sensing dry and adjusting heat level this thing will adapt and just dry as much as needed and shut off! Best feature is the Samsung smart home app which allows us to start the dryer remotely in the evening when rates are low and the demand on the Texas grid is much less. It also lets us know when the load is complete so we can start another one instead of keep checking on it every fifteen minutes. This dryer has been awesome and we can't wait to do such a tedious task like laundry now!

It has a huge capacity and is pretty quiet when running. I have a Samsung phone, so already had the Smart-Things app, but connecting to the dryer was quick and easy. It is nice to be able to see where you are at in the drying cycle without walking out to the laundry room! It's a simple dryer, but works as expected!

It is a nice match for the washer, and I like the smooth sleek look. Once again, I like the smart things app, but for the dryer I find that the end of cycle notice on my phone is the most useful. The sensor dry system seems to work very well, and it is loaded with cycles. I have not downloaded additional cycles yet, but it is cool that you can do that for more flexibility. The wrinkle prevent and rack dry are very useful cycles. It is quiet, and it does what it should, it dries the clothing fast and looks good doing it.
