Forget that the drawers are so shallow, nothing stands in them. This doesn't fit a brand-new LG washer. I bought a brand new washer and dryer and then these pedestals as well. They are the correct pedestal for my new washer Model:WM6500HWA, but the holes don't line up unless you take the feet off the washer and remove one of the nuts. This is a complete pain given the washer is heavy and you don't discover this until you lift the thing onto the pedestal. I thought I was going crazy until I found several online with the exact same complaint. How does something like this pass QC? I just can't imagine why LG would make something like this that doesn't fit their own appliance. Either make the holes on the washer connection lower or raise these.

Absolutely worthless! Just purchased a new washer/dryer with these pedestals and they were delivered yesterday. I considered them a must have for front loaders. More importantly, for our situation, we need the storage. However, a standard size bottle of laundry detergent and standard spray bottles of fabric softener DO NOT FIT!!! Very poor design LG. What were you thinking? Unfortunately, unless there is another pedestal that is deeper, we will have to return the washer and dryer set for a different brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate these drawers. Liquid laundry detergent does not fit. Either does spray starch cans. Why wouldn’t you make these drawers deeper so things fit??? I already called LG and complained to no avail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How much can you say about a pedestal? It lifts the machine up so its easier to access (great for bad backs) and has extra storage at the bottom. Worth getting for any front loading washer and/or dryer.

I purchased an LG pedestal in 2016 with my LG washer. My washer died in 2024 so I needed a new pedestal with it. The new design that includes the laundry basket is a loser. No one needs a laundry basket. They took away the divider in the drawer which made it great because it kept my stuff well organized. If you don't use the laundry basket, it's a jumbled up mess. I wish companies would quit redesigning things that work just for the sake of change. It's infuriating.

I notice people commenting they can't store bottles of detergent/fabric softener in the drawer. One of the charms of a pedestal is that you don't have to bend over as much. Why would you want to put bottles of detergent/fabric softener, which can be quite heavy when full, in the drawer where you have to bend over to pick them up. It's all good, LG!

I really like the 2 LG pedestal storage drawers. They have plenty of room to store laundry and cleaning supplies. I particularly like the removable baskets. It makes it so easy to empty the dryer contents right into the basket. As an added bonus, they make the washer and dryer higher so I don't have to bend to do the laundry or to find that missing sock.
