[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] after almost every load there is water and suds left in machine...unless i hit rinse and spin at the end of cycle i am stuck with very wet clothes i use the high spin cycle to use normal cycle forget it never ever had this problem with any other machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works well however LG seems to be going on the cheap by not including a light inside the washer when you open the door. Also no lighting in the display panel makes it difficult to read the settings you desire if you store the machine in an area that has low external lighting.

I have only had a chance to run a couple of loads through it, but so far, so good. It's pretty quiet, and does a good job sensing the load and working out the spin with heavy towels so that it doesn't shake all over the place. The one issue I had is that I have a value that shuts off the water to both lines at the same time. Every once in a while, I forget to open it before starting the washer. I did that on the second load, and it was a much bigger deal getting the washer to recognize that water was now available than it should have been. I had to shut it off multiple times to get it to reset and being the load anew. There should be a way to push a button that tells it, "My bad. The water's available now."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the WM4000HWA Washer 3 weeks ago. This was to replace my 15 year old LG washer that bit the dust. I did my research on Consumer Reports and found that this model had an excellent review and was on the top of their recommended products. I really like the Turbo wash component and feel it does a great job getting my clothes clean. It's a very quiet machine in comparison to my last model. I also like the wifi connectivity of the machine. It notifies me when the cycle is over and takes the worry out of "forgetting about" that load of laundry. I can confirm the recommendations of Consumer Reports and consider this washer to be a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this washer to replace a seven year old washer with a bad bearing. Have done several loads of laundry and this washer is extremely quiet. Clothes come out very clean. WiFi connectivity is not necessary, but it convenient as it notifies us when the load is complete. Very happy with this purchase.

Quiet, efficient, easy to use, I love the pedestal bases which makes it so easy for me to load and unload! I also bought the smaller washer for the base under the washing machine for smaller loads and that’s been great too. Highly recommend these LG products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: This is a very quiet front load washer with many excellent features. It has a good load capacity, and is gentle on the clothes. The ability to download a custom wash cycle is a nice benefit, and we’ve used the “small load” cycle several times. Cons: Not many! The wireless notification capability has been iffy, although there is an excellent signal and the LG dryer beside it has had no notification problems. That’s not a big deal, though. Finally, the control panel on the upper right is not backlit, and the print is not very prominent, so the lettering is difficult to see for those that have some vision impairment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm satisfied with this machine. I replaced a 15 year old Bosch nexxt 500. The heater on that machine stayed on to maintain temperature throughout the cycle. And there was more flexibility with temperature. The heater doesn't stay on on this machine throughout the cycle. I knew that before I bought the machine. My frustration with this machine is that I can easily get a 158 water temperature or 109.4 for hot. I can't seem to get anything in between. I often want something hotter than 109.4 but not as hot as 158. Other than the temperature issues, I like the machine. Clothes seem to be clean. And, I like that it runs smoother than my old machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Twelve years ago I bought my first LG washer/dryer set. The first and only repair the washer needed was a simple drain pump replacement after 12 years and the dryer never needed any service. I sold my house last year and the pair is still going strong. So I knew there was no other brand I would buy for my new house. The machine has been updated and modernized but its basically the same machine as my previous. I've done at least 25 loads in it in less than a month. With the old machine the 'normal' wash lasted 60 minutes. With this new model the 'turbo wash' function cannot be turned off for the 'normal' wash, so it only runs 30 minutes. I was skeptical that my clothes would be clean enough, but they really are.
