It is hard to get used to using hardly any water and detergent. I use turbowash and extra rinse every time. Having to dry the gasket on the door to keep it from smelling bad is hard to do since I have arthritis.

I have been satisfied with the washer since the repair but cannot give an excellent rating because of the initial issue. LG response to the problem was excellent, so a point in their favor.

The one thing I wish you provided is a more complete User’s Guide. It would be easier to go to the User’s Guide to have questions answered rather than go to the internet, search for the manual and then try to find where an answer might be to a question.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced an older LG model that had transmission troubles after 12 years of service with only 1 or 2 service calls. This is a great unit with a lot of useful washing features. However, I couldn’t connect it to my wireless network, as the instructions weren’t great and there were so many requirements regarding such connection. I did not need the network connection and would just as soon have not even had that feature anyway, so not really a problem.

I am thrilled and overwhelmed with this washer, although I have not used all the functions, they are just waiting for me to try them. So far, I love this washer. The extra clean function gets out stains and the extra rinse function is great as I am sensitive to soapy film left by my old washer. I would but this product again.

The only somewhat negative is that clothes seem to gravitate to the back of the drum so I need to bend more. Washer is on a pedestal so that isn't a big problem. Really like the washer and dryer.

The seal part is back ordered and no one knows when it will be available, rendering my brand new washer unusable for an undetermined amount of time. Very frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this washer for about a month and so far it works great. I wasn't sure if the Turbo Wash would be worth the extra money, but it is. I really cuts down on the time it takes to do a cycle without sacrificing your clothes getting clean. The app that you can use on your smartphone is handy, but it had some quirks to get it paired with the washer. Once set up on the phone, no problems. The washer is very quiet and it doesn't stick out so far into the room compared to some others, which was one of the deciding factors in getting this one. The front of the washer has a smoke colored cover on the door, which I'm not sure I like or not. It's a little too dark so you can't see very well whats going on in the washer. However it makes the front of the door perfectly flat and looks sleek. The inner window is actually tempered glass and not acrylic which is impressive. All in all very impressed with the washer so far. Cleanliness of the clothes is far superior to the HE top load washer it replaced.
