Our 7 year old front load washer from another brand needed repair and we were told that the repair would cost over $1300!! We purchased the LG based on reviews of long lasting durability. This washer cleans clothes and has multiple different settings. I like the idea that you can download different wash cycles. That may come in handy. Let’s see if this washer lasts more than 7 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the washer and dryer for 3 weeks and have reviewed the furnished owners' manual and can find nothing that tells me how to use the features. For example, what is the benefit of the steam feature; what is the best way to use it; what is it best used on; when does steam function during a wash cycle. The other features I think I've figured out by hit and miss but really don't know the most effective way to use the many features. I'm still struggling to figure out how to setup the on-line system for my phone.

The repairman laughed when I asked if it could be fixed, indicating I might be able to find parts in an antique store. A rapid, but thorough, internet search showed me that an LG would serve me best. I've been very pleased. My machine is quiet and reliable. The various cycles work. Clothes come out well-spun and smelling sweet. Bedding is handled very nicely. The machine's design makes it easy to use, and the app is handy.

I really didn’t think we needed a new set since ours was only 7 years old. Wow, was I wrong! This new LG makes my old set seem like I was washing laundry on a rock down by the river. Great new features and light years ahead in efficiency! You need this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the LG thin washer and dryer about 2 weeks ago. Just amazing machines. I haven't figured out how to put on my smart phone but really easy to use. Super quiet and sings when done. No silly noise from machines. After the washing machine is finished the clothes are really wringed out so doesn't need time I the dryer. I also used the wrinkle cycle and was amazed how my skirt came out, just beautiful . Wonderful machines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my 15yr old washer. This washer is amazing and performs so much better than my previous washer. The direct drive is great and the turbo wash is a must have. I do wish there was a way to increase the volume of the notifications. Other than that it’s a great washer!

Had this machine for over a month now and still can’t figure out what it’s doing. It just does it’s own thing completely (AI) and I don’t care for it. I thought it would be a good fit for my family with the reviews I read, but it’s way too sensitive. I should have went with a simpler machine. I miss my old LG, it had a water plus feature that I used regularly and it made a huge difference in how clean my clothes came out. I have washed the same clothes and have used the same detergents in this new machine as my old one and my clothes don’t come out nearly as clean as they used to. Another issue is, you only have a small window of time to pause it and add items otherwise you are locked out. Better make sure all the clothes pockets are empty and you don’t have anything of importance in said clothes by accident, because you will not be able to retrieve it once it’s locked. There are a number of things about this machine that I don’t like, but basically I feel I have no operating authority over this machine and now I have to try and make the best of it. 🤷‍♀️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this washer is beautiful. I am so impressed with how quickly and effectively it washes clothes. It uses very little water and has highly customizable settings to fit many situations. Love the allergen removing and sanitizing settings. The app is great too. We splurged on the pedestal sidekick washer too and that's a gamechanger - two loads at once. Sometimes we hang out and watch the washer work because it's still new and cool lol.

This is my second LG washer and I love this new one. The features are endless and spins the cloths nearly dry. I plan on repairing the old one as I loved that one also. Due to a surgery, I was unable to repair it in a timely fashion, so I bought a new one. Some aspects of the repair I was not physically not able to accomplish.
