Because the new generation of washers are taller than older models, we had to alter the cabinet where the new one is placed. The door does not latch well, and we are still waiting for a repair person. Having said that, the machine functions well; quiet and efficient. It does well with small or large loads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 4000 LG steam washer has minimal vibration and excellent cleaning. It replaced a 15 years old LG washer. Gave old washer to a friend and it is still working. I just love the new washer. Only choice for a replacement was another LG washer, but it is beyond all expectations.

The only thing we were concerned about was service as we live outside of Durango and there are no dedicated LG service locations anywhere near. We did buy an ESC. I hope this washer lasts as long as our previous washer, 16 yrs.

We bought this just a few weeks ago to replace another washer that was over 10 years old. The cost to replace it was over half of a new washer so we decided to buy new rather fix old. I have to say I'm quite impressed with the features. We've really come to like the towel setting and especially the sanitary wash. The turbo wash also really does a nice job getting clothes clean. I was a little skeptical about the Wi-Fi functionality but I'm actually starting to like it. It lets me know when the cycle is done and how much time is left. I've even put the clothes and detergent in and set it for remote start. Then, about an hour before I leave work, I remotely start it so it's done when I get home. Now, if I could only purchase the matching dryer ...

The large capacity is extraordinary. We can now wash bedding and mattress liner as one load. I get all my work clothes done in one load. The controls are intuitive. One of the great features I like is the clean out is accessible with out having to take the Washer apart.

I love the fact that because it's Wi-fi connected I get a notification on my smart watch to let me know when a cycle has finished. Living on a ranch I might be anywhere but not in the house. And I have so many cycles to choose from. My clothes have never looked so good. Especially happy about the extra large tub as I can wash my King sized comforter and I can also wash my weighted blanket in it. I couldn't do that in my old washer. It's a wonderful product and I recommend it to friends all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family is extremely satisfied with the washer and dryer. They are both extremely easy to use the programs available with the LG app. The app is a must to take advantage of all the available features provided to you by LG.

It is to get started doing a wash. But the number of options allows you to customize your washes to what is being washed. Remote start and finish notification is an excellent feature. But the inability to turn in and start remotely would be useful. For example, my wife puts in a load but waits to see if I have any items to add. If not, one of us still needs to go to the machine t on start it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer with the matching dryer. The versatility is very fascinating with cycles for just about every imaginable situation. My only complaint is that communication with the app is not always reliable. It does not always alert me when a cycle is done. One little bit of advice on placement - the washer door opens to the left, the dryer door to the right (but can be switched). If possible, place the dryer to the right of the washer for easy transfer of your load.
