[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not expecting to purchase a washer, but when my washer of 17 tears decided to die, I was left to researching for a replacement. I’m extremely pleased with this replacement. I actually feel that the clothes are cleaner. There are features that I’ll never use that the younger folks will enjoy. I’m quite pleased with this front load washer.

Tries to wash your nice big load in a teacup of water, then rinse it in even less water. Ridiculous. I sometimes have to restart the load 3 times just to get enough water in the unit to get everything wet so it can wash. Then I have to run it through an extra rinse in order to get all the soap out of the clothes. No way you can just set it up and let it run. You have to sit and fix things every step of the way--huge time waste. I think Thin Q stands for thin IQ (low intelligence). This is not my first front load machine so I know what I am doing. I am not overloading the washer nor am I using too much soap, and I don't have soft water. I don't have the money to trash this washer and get a new one so I just continue to suffer using it. I have no idea how it got such high ratings, especially by Consumer Reports. Someone wasn't paying attention!

About week 6 after delivery we notices water stains on the run coming from under the washer. Turns out the water hose from behind the soap trays wash leaking and a service call was required. Problem was fixed but now we need to have the rug replaced. To do that the washer/dryer and several cabinets must be removed from the room.

Bought my 1st set in 2006 and it was still working in 2020, when i got my 2nd set of LG washer and dryer. Parts were scare to get so we decided it was time for a new set. These have been great products. I love my new LG washer and dryer. Quiet operation , Washes and dries in no time.

We purchased this product to replace an older Maytag washer. The new LG works very well and was relatively easy to learn how to operate. The washer is exceptionally quiet and offers many different wash options. Overall, the LG works very well, is gentle on clothing, and gets clothing very clean.

I can’t say enough about both LG Washer and Dryer combination. So many wash cycles to choose from when using the LG app. Thus is my second set, one for home, and one for vacation home. Both get used frequently with constant visitors and I’ve never had any issues. I love that my dryer has a steam cycle to assist in removing any wrinkles that remain in clothing. The pedestal accessory is great, extra laundry basket inside can hold washed or dried clothing or use for storage for cleaning products. Engineers thought of everything. Thank you, you’ve made my life so much easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer was replacement for an older TROMM LG. It fits on the old pedistal which has the screw+adhesive side plates, but a new set of side plates and screws is required. The current pedistal design has screw attachements that do not require the side plates. One potential improvement: It would be helpful to have a volume adjustment on the tone which signals the end of the cycle. The wireless notification is only useful if the phone is not on silent..., which ours is much of the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an LG front loader washer/dryer combination 20 years ago. I had to remodel the set up for the Washer to fit. I didn't know how lucky I was until I went to replace the machine that it lasted 20 years. So I decided to purchase the dryer as well. I really like these machines. The only negative was the soap dispenser. After years of water running through, the front panel on the inside started to rust. The dryer had no negatives. I only wish I had purchased earlier when my son was playing sports. I did put purchase the pedestals.

The door lock feature is highly annoying. It stays locked far too long. And sometimes, even when you're putting in another load, once you re-close the door, it locks again. Tonight I forgot to put the pod in, did not hit start, just tried to reopen--nope, locked again. The idea that the "fix" for this is to unplug it is unacceptable. I'd have to be a contortionist to the reach the plug in our washer closet. Also the door STAYS locked long after the lock light is out, which if memory serves is in the owner's manual. Not sure why they would ever put out a washer that they know does that.
