I bought my Chevy Tahoe new in 2005. The dealer had 20" wheels & tires on this vehicle, when I bought it. I put 2 sets of tires on it, & the last set I refused to go with anything but Michelins. What's the saying? "If Momma ain't happy, nobody's happy" Well this Momma is very happy & content!!!!!

This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. Last week I had 4 new defender ltx tires mounted and balanced (P265/60r18). About 100 miles later the whole rear end of my truck now shakes like crazy when traveling between 55-60mph. I drove right back and they tell me that my rear 2 tires have "factory defects". I'm having them replaced tomorrow.

I have owned multiple sets of Michelin LTX tires on my trucks through out the years and have always had a great service from them.. until now with the LTX Defender tires. I bought these tires to replace a very worn set of OEM BF Goodrich tires that came on my truck. After 3 separate tire shops attempts at balancing the tires I am still left with a very significant amount of vibration at speeds over 50 mph. Very disappointing to say the least!

i bought these for wifes cadillac xt5 with 235/55/20's about 1000 miles on them, they seem louder, stiffer, than the Michelin Premiers that came with the vehicle??? are they desinged for larger vehicles or something? i have about a week left to exchange them for a different tire they seem to be a great tire but maybe for larger vehicles???

Michelin has been my tire of choice since 2000. New Minivan came with michelins, great selling point. At 80k miles, did not think at the time, needed to spend alot on tires for the now old van. Was I sorry. I traded in old van with very noisy tires. Bought 4 runner could not wait to get michelins on it! Now have 60k on this set, I rotate them faithfully. no sign of needing to replace yet, but when I do no matter how old the vehicle I will buy michelins for every reason. low to no noise, wear, great composite hold the road great in ALL michigan weather. even have michelin on motorhome! 7 years on that set and still going strong.

I've been a Michelin loyalist since 1985. My latest set of LTX M/S on my SUV have been and still are a great ride. I am amazed at how well these tires perform, and I get more than the average rated MPG for my SUV which I do credit the tires, because it is the only thing that is not factory on my vehicle. There is no doubt for me that my next set of tires will be Michelins.

I am running a set of LTX M/S 2 now on my 2003 Suburban after having achieved 85,000 miles with a set of LTX M/S tires that were one size larger than the tires that came as orignal equipment. This was to help with trailering a 20 ft travel trailer. Ride was harder with the large size LTX M/S. Now with LTS M/S2 of teh same large size ride is smoother than before. I expect to get well over 100,000 miles with these tires. I will not buy any other auto or light truck tire besides Michelin.

The tires have worn well. I have 49,000 miles on them and have about 10,000 miles left. The only thing I have noted is some chunking of tread on gravel roads. I have pieces of tread missing from several of the tires. I am usually towing my trailer/Jeep on gravel roads. It appears the rear tires cannot handle the weight on gravel without having chunks of tread come off.

I have had my tires for about 10,000 miles. They are very quiet, and give me a smooth ride as well. I believe in Michelin tires and have purchased them for half of my life. They have never failed me and I have never had a problem with any of my Michelin tires getting cupped on the edges and making noise. They are not the cheapest tire but they are worth the cost in the long run. Spend the time to rotate them every 5000 miles and they will last you a long time.
