I have owned three sets of LTX M/S , both on a Jeep Grand Cherokee & Two Chevy Silverado's. The LTX's were so smooth and quiet on my Jeep that it felt like it had a complete new suspension. I have over 82K miles on my current set on my silverado. I will never purchase any other tire than the the Michelin LTX series for any SUV or truck I own.

We have bought Michelin tires for our vehicles for years because we thought they were the best. Not these. And they were not cheap. I have hated these tires since they were put on my vehicle. I feel like I have a ride like Fred Flintstone. Yaba daba do!

Great tires for a daily driver with the traction necessary for bad weather. Great in snow and rain - sure footed for whatever comes your way. These were original equipment on our SUV and are going strong after 45,000 miles. If they were a little more quiet they'd get 5 stars. But comfortable and sure footed overall. Great value and quality product.

Been using Michelins for 35 years. Had to very off the road to avoid a deer and the shoulder had a drop off. The Michelin's came right back onto the road with out pulling back. The safety of the Grandkids I feel is insured by drivving on Michelins. I recommend them every chance I get. Some people don't want to spend the extra money but in the wear factor and milage I save in the long run. One thing,,,,,Rotate them. I do it at 5000 even though recommended at 7500.

These are my favorite SUV tires and have bought two sets. They are on my 1998 4 wheel drive Blazer and like my last set, are wearing like iron! They still have lots of tread left even after 40,000 miles, and never hydroplanes in heavy rain. Mileage also improved over the set previously on it, and you can"t beat the traction. They took very little weight to initially balance, and are still smooth. Well worth the cost.

I have had several sets of Michelins over the years and they have all been good tires, but these Defender LTX M/S are the best so far. I ran the PSI up to 40 -it was set at 32 from the installer and that made a big difference. I have not used them in snow yet but took a couple 800 miles trips and hit a lot of rain and sun at speed. These tires make my truck feel like a train- glued to the road...hit 1 to 2 inch pools of water on the interstate and they sliced right through it. Very comfortable ride and no excess noise. The only downside is I think I lost a MPG or two on the highway - but these are for a truck, if you want MPG your driving the wrong vehicle. Buy these tires you will not be sorry.

Just very happy with tires. handles wet weather great. roads in fl when raining us to give me a problem b4 getting these. i highly rec. these. and i would purchase again!!! safety first. its funny but i always ck tires b4 driving any where just encase a flat or something..and i see my tires and said to myself self GOOD PURCHASE!! I was looking for a smooth riding quiet tire for my SUV. I got that and more. comfort was a big deal and so was road noise. I drive on open road a lot and long trips. I tow a boat with my SUV. the LTX M/S looks great with it's raised white letters. handles great wet and dry roads. braking is great. I was most surprised by it's traction in snow. living in the north east thinking I would need a more aggressive tire to handle the snow. not the case. I made the rite choice. the only thing that I would say that was bad about this tire. was the little cracks around the bead of the tire as it aged . dry rot . LTX M/S A+

I drive about 100 miles a day and I am completely satisfied with these tires. The ride is smooth and quiet. I would recommend these to anyone and I have. We don't get alot of rain in southern california but when we do I feel sfae and insured that these tires will maintain traction and controlability.

Have been a loyal Michellin customer. These tire out performed by expectations for miles and ride quality. I was able to get 85,000 miles with limited rotation. The tires still had 5,000 to 10,000 miles, but with winter coming, it was time to change. Will always stay with Michellin.
