Sound quality very poor. Voices & music muddled. EQ functions make little difference. My 10 year old Bose much better sound quality. I Expected better quality based on reviews on Sam’s webpage. You get what you pay for.

We are very pleased with this purchase. We originally bought it for an older TV that did not have the HDMI ARC port but decided instead of using an optical cable and lose some of the remote functionality, we also updated with a new Vizio TV. The sound quality of the sound bar, accompanying speakers and subwoofer has exceed our expectations and has given us back that theater experience we were missing since our surround sound died. Set up was quite easy.

For the $150 i paid theres zero complaints but this is for a smaller envlosed room. It works for me but if your a movie buff and are looking for something that has tremendous bass you should invest in a system that cost more. Over all its not bad at all.

The hardest part about setting this system up was getting it out of the box. It was sealed up tighter than Fort Knox under attack by the combined forces of the Antifa and BLM rioters, with heavy cardboard and a generous, well thought out set of packing materials. Everything was in good condition, and as other reviewers have mentioned, all the cables you need were included, including an HDMI cable. The sound is quite good. First thing I noticed is the central channel on the sound bar made movie dialogue quite a bit clearer (I'm a bit hard of hearing) than my previous 7.1 channel setup did. And even though this Vizio is only 5.1 channel, it delivers more realistic surround sound than my 7.1 channel setup managed. And surprisingly, even though the bass speaker on the Vizio is quite a bit smaller than my previous 7.1 channel setup, it still delivers very impressive bass, and plenty of volume. Sam's Club had the Vizio on sale over Thanksgiving for $50 off, and based on the reviews by others, I was comfortable with going ahead and making the purchase. I'm glad I did.

Got the sound bar on sale. Easy installation and it connected right away to my Firestick remote. The included remote has a nice LCD screen to view what's being changed, but haven't figured out all of the functions yet, such as EQ, etc. It's hard for me to determine the sound differences between music, game, movie, etc. Maybe I expected more than I should for what is probably a pretty basic sound bar. I did have to adjust the sound delay a little on my TV to get the sound in synch with the video.

This was impressive for the price and we are really enjoying it. We had just put a Sony surround sound in our great room and thought about our bedroom to improve the vocals. Indeed this was great with the voice and made a remarkable improvement in the rest of the sound spectrum...the woofer as well as the other frequencies. It completely fills our room and then some. We thought the TV sound was good, but this is another level of enjoyable listening.

Reported rear bluetooth connection speakers sound drop-out issue to Vizio tech support. Performed recommended power reset followed by firmware version update from 1.0.0.7 to 1.0.0.8 without success. Therefore, Vizio shipped me a new replacement unit. Installed replacement unit and performed firmware version update from 1.0.0.7 to 1.1.0.7, again with no resolution to the rear speakers drop-out problem. Now what to do?

Was looking for a karaoke with surround system under 300. After lot of back and forth i found this. WIth both analog and digital input is perfect as I wanted to use it for both TV and mixer output. I got this+mixer+dual mic all under $300. Works perfect with TV and also my mixer when I want to do karaoke.

Our Vizio sound bar went bad, so this was on sale during the recent holiday sale. For the price, it has proven to be a good choice. The sound quality is really clear and with the two rear speakers, the bass sometimes cause our dogs to bark . We had to get used to that, but we are very happy with this purchase. No disappointment here.

Setup was easy and convenient. I used it with a Vizio tv (also from Sam's) to minimize controllers needed and in hopes that being the same brand they would work well with each other. The mounting brackets they came with for the sound bar were sub par but I was able to easily replace with some angle brackets I had on hand that could better support it. The surround sound ones work better because they are lighter. It is a dramatic upgrade for the built in speakers included in the tv so well worth the money (~$150 on black friday). I have used for gaming, sports and movies for a month and am very happy with this purchase.
