[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Connected to a brand new 85” Sanyo TV, with a special order HDMI ARC cable. Failed in three days. Had to by a longer Optical cable to connect. Have to connect to “Game” mode for surround to activate rear speakers. Connection to subwoofer via Bluetooth is poor and mostly drops withe no sub woofer output.

We weren't quite ready to splurge on a high-end system just yet so we decided on this model. Unboxing and setup is a breeze. It paired very easily with our Vizio TV. Initial use in movies and video games is very good. We're very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend!

The sound is great and I like all the different settings. There are two reasons I’m not giving it 5 stars. The first being that the device name isn’t customizable and if one of my neighbors or has the same sound bar system then they can get mixed up when connecting via bluetooth (this actually happened multiple times and I live in an apartment so I have lots of neighbors). The second reason ties into the first and anyone can connect to your sound system. I wish there was a way to only allow certain devices to connect using bluetooth.

The sounds in this system is great! I decided to get this sound system because I also have the Vizio tv. Both combination is awesome. The remote talks, that’s also cool. You can’t go wrong with this product. I bought it Friday night, received it by Saturday afternoon. Now, how awesome is that I would definitely recommend this system. Sam, did not asked me to do this review I decided to do it on my own that’s how impressed I’m with this system as well as the quickness it came to my home. Hopefully, I’m not writing this review too soon. I’ve only had it for two days, I’m satisfied so far.

Easy to setup. The instruction to set up different sound features needs better clarification. The system seems to get confused, all of sudden the speakers stop working. This happened several times. A call to support was able to resolve the issues. Most of the time required a reboot of the system which points to most likely caused by quality control (testing) of the software.

THE SURROUND BAR SOUNDS EXCELLANT FOR THE PRICE, COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO HOOKUP TO YOUR TV ALL CABLES FOR YOUR EXACT HOOKUP ARE INCLUDED, AND THIS SOUND BAR WILL SOUND AS GOOD OR NOT BETTER THEN THE SAMSUNG OR BOSE SURROUND BAR SYSTEMS, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED !!!

I got this about a week ago and I wish I had gotten one sooner. This is my first home theater system. I’m not very tech savvy so it is taking me a while to get everything set up correctly since I am learning as I go. The VIZIO V-Series 5.1 Home Theater System is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I am definitely hooked and will never be without one again. Now I am going to have to go buy a new high tech VIZIO TV so I can get the full enjoyment. Thank You VIZIO for making such wonderful electronics!!!!!!!

I purchased this item under a guest account and have deleted the email since purchasing. This is unverified, but I did purchase this item. I waited to write a review to see how this unit performed. I was skeptical on purchasing due to some comments. The subwoofer is wireless and convenient to place at any location in the room. The only downfall to me so far is that the surround speakers are not wireless. They each have a long cord running to the subwoofer. I hooked everything up correctly and the surround speakers were not working. There was a light static coming out during specific parts to a movie. After messing with the various different settings on the remote, this problem was resolved. I have had no other problems and am happy with my purchase.

I'm really enjoying my new home theater.. it sync's easily to my 50in Vizio 4k smart tv.. sound is good for the price.. and it is aesthetically pleasing.. comes with everything you need to install.. the only minus I have to say is.. that to really enjoy the system.. everything has to be streamed in 5.1 sound.. so the subwoofer won't work with my cable channels.. just.. 4k movies and games.. but otherwise a good product.
