I received this as a sample and have tried it previously at an office building. My daughter and I tried it straight out of the packet. Yeah, that just wasnt a good idea, the raw taste was very unpleasant. However adding this to a beverage is the way to consume Truvia. It gives drinks a sweet taste next to a sugar substitute. A plant that is all natural and sweet too is a healthy pick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently made the switch from sucralose to stevia and love the individual packets that Truvia offers. @ packets are just the right amount for my morning coffee. They are in sturdy packaging and at a great price.

Unlike other sugar substitutes with a powdery consistency – Truvia is granulated like "regular" sugar. The first sip of coffee with Truvia in it actually produced that 'ahhhh' feeling you get when you've discovered something completely unexpected. I love that this is a natural sugar with 0 calories. To me, Truvia definitely separates itself in the taste department from the rest of the low-calorie sweeteners on the market. I use it to make Truvia lemonades, almond milk cocoas, and sweeten my 'healthy' candy.

Both my spouse & I need to watch our sugar so we switched to sweeteners almost 2 years ago. We've tried quite a few; we both think that Truvia sweetener is the best one we've tried. I have even substituted Truvia in some of my baking; using the Truvia for 1/3rd of the sugar required in the recipe. Results so far have been very good.

I was dubious, I'll admit. I had tried stevia before, and just couldn't get past the slight bitter taste, or aftertaste. This though, I feel good about using, AND it tastes great! No aftertaste, and still sweet-but not toooo sweet like some sweeteners.

This looks, feels and taste like sugar with calories are sugar entering your body. Great for diabetes levels and will not raise it. It is not sugar but a plant leaf !

I tried this product in my coffee and I could not be happier. The natural sweetness brought out the flavor of my drink without taking away from it. It's a beautiful level of sweetness without being too weak, nor too sweet. Plus, it's consistency is the perfect match to real sugar, filling anybody that doesn't know. Overall, I am a forever fan of this new sweetie in my life!

I received two free packets of Truvia a month ago, and used them on two different occasions for, of all things, Ovaltine!  It was the best thing I have ever used because it was, indeed, far better than real sugar.  For example, the bitterness found in the other sweeteners was nowhere to be found.  The breakdown which happens with aspartame when confronted with heat was not found with this product, either.   Ultimately, I found it far better than sugar because it was sweet like sugar, but contains no calories - all the benefits without the nasty side-effects.  With my being recently diagnosed with hyperglycemia (a.k.a. Diabetes), it was the proverbial "God send" to me. I got two free samples and tried them one in coffie other in hot tea tast was nice  have been useing  some store brands mostly do to cost am on a fixed income do to disabilty so price affects buying have seen on tv and n store but could get more for my buck with store brand ut as for the samples i got they were very good im a diebetic and use sweeteners every day  well great stuff keep up the good work us diebetics need great tasting sweeteners  thanks for the samples wish I had more well maybe someday will be able to afford somemore have a blessed day God bless S A murray
