The 2g of Carbs are safe? When it says natural flavor, which flavor is used? Where it comes from? I want to know if the product is genuine.

Hi there, yes, the sweetener is safe. The components in Truvia® Calorie-Free Sweetener have been studied to assure safety of the sweetener. As a result of these studies, the components have been classified as “Generally Recognized As Safe” (GRAS) by experts for use as general purpose sweeteners. Truvia® Calorie-Free Sweetener contains erythritol, a sugar alcohol that is absorbed by the body but cannot be used for energy like typical carbohydrates. For the purposes of food labeling, erythritol appears on the label as a carbohydrate, but there are no calories in the erythritol or Truvia Calorie Free Sweetener and it does not affect blood sugar or insulin. We appreciate your curiosity, but like chefs and their secret sauces we can't share what our natural flavors are. If we did, the premium taste of Truvia Calorie-Free Sweetener would be no different than the others. What we can tell you is, like vanilla, pepper and spices, our natural flavors are derived from natural sources.
