I decided to use this Truvia in one of my sweet potato pies to see how it would taste compared to my regular sugar and surprisingly it turned out really good! The flavor was still sweet, the texture stayed smooth, and you honestly can’t tell much of a difference. If you’re looking to cut back on sugar without losing the taste, this might be a good option. Now…I’m not replacing my regular sugar completely, but it definitely passed the test.

It tastes good in my coffee without having that nasty aftertaste. As somebody who's diabetic and really needs to do my best to avoid regular sugar, this is a great alternative. I really like Truvia and have been buying it in these small packets for several years now. I noticed when I purchased a box a few weeks ago in my local Sam's Club that what once was the perfect amount in one packet was no more. The box still contains 400 packets but instead of getting 42.3 oz (1200 grams) you get 28.2 oz. (800 grams) That may not seem like much, spread out over 400 packets, but it is. I now have to use 1 1/3 packets and it sucks because you cannot guess 1/3 of a packet. WHY do companies put less in a box and charge you the same price? I would rather pay more and get what I'm used to. At this point, I am going to find another stevia product or go back to Splenda. It's the principle of the matter and it's not worth guessing 1/3 of a packet and then half the time, the remainder gets throw away since I don't have 3 cups of coffee in the morning. UGGGGH!
