It has ZERO calories, ZERO added sugar, and it still somehow tastes EXACTLY like regular A%26W root beer. I gave up on "diet" soda many years ago, because it used to taste fake, artificial, just... YUCK. I don't know what has changed in the formula for zero sugar products the last few years, but it's a GOOD change. "Diet" soda no longer tastes like diet. It just tastes like cool, bubbly, wonderfully refreshing soda. YES!!! I am now able to reduce ALL calories I take in each day through beverages to almost ZERO. That cuts (for me, anyway) roughly 400 calories a day. WooHoo!! Switching to virtually all zero calorie drinks throughout my day has already caused me to lose almost 10 pounds, in less than two months. Awesome. I only wish it were cheaper. The 2-liter bottles are not too crazy expensive, but the 12-pack soda cans are, unless you catch them on super sale, which I did. The 6-pack plastic 17 oz bottles are a bit less $$ too, but still, I try to wait for a sale. I love root beer in particular, however so, I might be willing to pay the flipping $8 for a 12-pack of the 12 oz cans. But I definitely recommend this brand of zero sugar soda for the taste alone. Perfect!!

A%26W Sugar Free Root Beer is one of the best sugar-free sodas I've tried. It pretty much tastes just like regular root beer, which I really appreciate. A lot of sugar-free drinks tend to lose flavor or leave a strange aftertaste, but this one still has that classic rich, smooth root beer taste that A%26W is known for. It has a nice balance of sweetness and creaminess without being overpowering, and the carbonation is just right. I also love that I can enjoy a soda without worrying about all the sugar, especially when I still want something flavorful and satisfying. We shouldn't have to miss out on great taste just because we need or prefer a sugar-free option. If you're trying to cut back on sugar but still want a classic soda that actually tastes good, this is definitely a great choice. It's refreshing, satisfying, and a solid alternative to the original.

This soda tastes as good as regular soda but without the carbs. It also doesn’t have caffeine. My diabetic son uses it for root beer floats as well as just drinking. It’s a soda everyone in the house will drink and be happy with so it’s great for us!

This is one of the best zero sugar sodas I’ve tried. It still has that classic A%26W root beer flavor, smooth, creamy, and a little vanilla-like, without tasting watered down or artificial. It’s a great option when you want something sweet without the sugar, and it’s just as satisfying as the original. Definitely a favorite.

Great taste no to sweet almost feels like your cheating with the real root beer without the carbs. Keeps your sugar levels low n intact. Highly recommend. Great price, affordable.

Has a fresher, cleaner, taste, and thankfully, not nearly as sweet as the original sugary version. A tiny bit too carbonated for my taste, but I don't like a lot of carbonation.

I love this stuff, I wasn't really a fan of root beer growing up but I was looking for something zero sugar that I would actually enjoy drinking and this is it. It doesn't taste diet to me plus no caffeine when I want to drink it later at night.

When I take the first sip, my craving for sugar goes away. It is the only zero sugar soda I have tried that is almost identical to the taste of the sugared version. For me being diabetic. This is incredibly important to me.

This is my favorite zero sugar drink. The taste profile is very close to the sugar drink. I highly suggest this soda to anyone going for the low to no sugar diet.
