Tastes super similar to the regular

I like having A%26W Zero Sugar Root Beer available when I'm craving that classic root beer flavor but don't want a regular sugar-filled soda. Root beer is one of those flavors that can feel more like a treat than an everyday drink, so having a zero-sugar option is nice. The flavor still has that familiar creamy, vanilla-like root beer taste that I expect from A%26W. I think it's best served really cold, and it's especially good when I want something fizzy and refreshing without the sweetness of a traditional root beer. The 12-ounce cans are a convenient size for individual servings. They're easy to chill, grab from the refrigerator, or take along when we're heading out. I also prefer cans when I'm buying a multipack because everyone can grab one without opening a larger bottle that may sit around and lose its carbonation. With three teenage sons in the house, a 12-pack is a practical quantity to keep stocked. Drinks tend to disappear quickly around here, so having a case available is much easier than buying individual cans. I also love that root beer can be used for more than just drinking. Since I bake frequently and make homemade desserts, I can see using the zero-sugar version in certain recipe experiments or enjoying it alongside a dessert when I want a little something fizzy. Overall, I think this is a good option for root beer fans who prefer zero sugar. The classic A%26W flavor comes through, the 12-ounce cans are convenient, and the 12-pack is a useful size for keeping at home. It's a nice alternative when you want root beer without regular sugar.

Our Favorite Zero drink of all of them.

I really like the flavor of this Zero better than regular A%26W and it is waaaaaaayyyy better than the diet which I used to drink. To me there is something about this that as you get part way thru the can it starts to taste a little bit like a root beer float. This is our favorite Zero drink.

Best Tasting Root Beer

I have bought all of the root beer sugar free sodas and this is hands down the best one! It literally tastes like a root beer float! With all the other ones, you can tell they’re sugar free, but honestly, you cannot with this one. A lot of the time, Walmart will have this brand on sale too which can be a steal. Don’t hesitate to buy if like like real root beer flavor!

Love it, but wont pay the increased pricing

The only thing I dislike about A and W root beer, is the $3.00 increase in price..........again. I won't buy it then. I try and stock up when its 5.00 again. My California friend pays $8.88 now and when we pay $5.00, when it goes up to 8 ish dollars in Tn. California goes up to 12.oo something. WOW

Farewell Old Friend

We went through a lot of sugar free, zero sugar root beers and we loved it. Then it was consistently unavailable, and we found our new favorite, Barq’s. It is super delicious. If you can get A%26W, lucky you,,it’s a great soda and we went through 100 cases of it, but now we can’t get it anywhere.

Tried to buy again, but can’t get the price $6.00 for a 12 can pack like I did before. The cheapest price I could get to come up was $17.99. Really aggravated that couldn’t get correct price.

Best Taste!

Friends and family compared the top brands of root beer over the summer and A%26W was always the winner. Crisp clean root beer taste without the calories.

When they substitute a six pack of bottles that are on sale for $3.50 for a 12 pack of cans for $7.50 it doesn’t make any sense I would rather they just said they didn’t have any or substituted for a 2 L

The Zero Sugar is awful. The Diet Root Beer taste like the original A%26W Root Beer. The Zero Sugar A%26 W Root Beer does not have the same taste that A%26W, it taste weaker and does not have the root beer tang. If you don’t bring back the Diet A%26 W, I will have to try something else.
