The first planter was defective and we had to get a replacement sent. One of the legs was messed up and wouldn't adjust to the correct height due to a bad screw. The quality is actually pretty good. The second planter was built in minutes and looks great in the backyard. If we didn't have a problem with the first planter the stars would of been higher. i would recommend to look at the legs before you start building the planter!

This planter box is nice and deep. I believe it's the deepest you will find. It's strong and sturdy. Make sure you really like where you put it because it will be too heavy to move after you add soil. You won't have to worry about the wind blowing this over once you add your soil. It just needs some wheels.

I decided to start growing my own vegetables and herbs and I was looking for a raised bed for my balcony. This one is the perfect height and size. I was able to get 8 plants in without crowding. The shelf at the bottom holds all my tools and feed. I also love that it is self watering.

Graduating from 5G buckets to this stand up planter was her goal. 2yrs of moving vegetables around the house to find the ideal spot. Now she has an elevated garden. I over researched these. We almost went with a cedar/wooden unit until I couldn’t get past all the negative assembly reviews. This unit is a composite plastic that should hold up for years. The color is in the plastic, so it won’t crack and flake off. You don’t have to line the bottom with gravel and mesh liner to allow drainage(prevent root rot). A drainage system is built in, with a drain plug and floating moisture gauge. It doesn’t seep thru the wood and fall onto everything you have sitting on your lower shelf. It’s large. She’s growing 4 tomato plants with 3 small herbs in between. A FIRM base is required to set this on. We sat it up on mulch in a flower bed, only to find the weight sank in and tipped it over. Now it sits atop 4 stepping stones in the same place. I really like that you don't have to put water directly on the plants, which create more problems. Simply point the hose down the tube of moisture gauge to irritate from the bottom.

This is a top notch product and a great value for the money! I have 4 of these now on my front porch, 3 filled with flowers and 1 with herbs. I bought 3 last year and one this year. I priced out everything else I could find and all were much more expensive. When Sams got it again this year at about the same cost as last year, I snapped it up.

We used this planter for a herb garden. Bought one and it worked so well we bought a second one. Plants are growing well and we are able to maintain a proper moisture level. Would buy again.

My husband and I bought two of these planters last Spring. We enjoyed the harvest of herbs and vegetables so much we ordered two more planters for the 2021 season.

The Keter XL planter is very well made and sturdy ,Easy to assemble. It took about 2 1/2 bags (55 dry qts each) ( so approx 130 dry qts ) of Miracle grow potting compost to fill it. I love it.

Would be 5 stars if it had a feature to prevent excess water from accumilating. The previous similar product did, It would drain excess water without having to pull the stopper. Unfortunately this one does not.

I purchased two of these. One was fine, the other had a large lengthwise crack. I returned the cracked one but realized that the other one had micro cracks so the planter wouldn’t hold water. Very disappointed in the quality and return process.
