I'm not sure why, but as a child, I think I was mildly lactose intolerant, so my Mom started giving me this kind of milk, and I haven't gone back to regular milk since (except for cooking/baking)! It tastes delicious, fresh! You can't even tell it's lactose-free! Even my husband drinks it, no questions asked.

Great product but is too expansive

I am lactose intolerant and I am forced to use Lactaid milk. Recently you introduced the reduced 2% and 20% more calcium compared to other milk, the product is good but the price is "hitting the roof". I also think the potassium content of 410mg in the half gallon is too high. Most people that use your products are minorities who are of low income and would be happy with a cheapier product minus the extra calcium.

Fresh and Delish!

LACTAID Reduced Fat 2% Milk is smooth and tastes rich, perfect for making puddings, white sauces or for coffee milk! People who don't know that it is lactose free would never know the difference, but I know the difference because regular milk makes me ill. Thank you for a great product. How about some lactose-free buttermilk, condensed milk, whipped "cream" topping? I'll be your first customer.

Great but...

I’ve been using this Lactaid milk for many years now. But I have to say I’ve cut my finger opening the foil top underneath the cap on several occasions. It does not peel off easy at all and usually comes off in pieces. In trying to peel off a piece at the top it can lead to a cut from the sharp edge of the foil. I’m not a clumsy person but this has happened three or four times over the years. I’ve even dropped a shred of the foil into the milk and had to strain it to remove for fear of swallowing it.

Love This Milk

I am so grateful for this milk and other Lactaid products. The milk tastes great and I use it in every way from drinking, cooking and even for fried chicken batter. I love that the expiration date is usually far out so there's no waste purchasing the larger size. I wish the gallon size was easier to find.

I love milk, it’s

I love milk, it’s one of my favorite things to drink, but regular milk made me bloated and nauseous so I switched to lactaid. Now I can drink milk all the time with no problem and I don’t notice a flavor difference either, like with some other milks.

Yes!!!

If you’re like me, you have a hard time with dairy free alternatives. This makes it so I don’t have to deal with the lactose and it tastes like regular old milk, so you can’t even tell the difference. Perfect for cooking, too — can’t tell you how many times I cooked something with almond or oat milk and hated the aftermath. This isn’t the case with lactaid!

I love it!

I have tried the skim milk but then tried the low fat one, which I loved! HOWEVER, I cannot possibly use up a 64 oz. container. Do I freeze some? Better, is there a quart size available? I have also tried the cottage cheese and now buy no other. Haven't yet tried the ice cream but it's on my list!

The tin seal on this product is unsafe

The tin/metal seal on the gallon container is very difficult to remove and shreds into small strips that could easily fall into the milk in the container. If one of these shredded pieces is ingested it could cause a bowel perforation. The method of sealing the gallon container should be changed before a medical complication occurs

2%

Lactaid 2% Milk is smooth, creamy, and tastes just like regular milk but without the lactose. It’s light enough for everyday use while still rich enough for coffee, cereal, and cooking. I love that it gives me the nutrition of dairy without any stomach issues
