I though I had researched this mattress enough and expected a "Firm" mattress. It is not firm. All the layers on top make it pretty soft. Also, the fact that it is a foam mattress leaves it with no real structure at the edge of the mattress. So edge lacks support. I have not returned it yet, but am definitely thinking about returning it. I have flipped the mattress over and am sleeping on the "bottom" of the mattress - that actually is reasonably "Firm".

The mattress seems to be decent quality however with some issues. First, it's not 12 inches thick. It barely reaches 10 inches thick and the cover is loose fitting. Second, obviously it never inflated all the way but this is especially obvious in the 4 corners where it's lower than the 10 inches of the rest of the mattress. We spent about $200 more for the 12 inch mattress. Should have saved our money. Stuck now because we got rid of our old mattress. Such a shame because other than the mentioned faults it could have been a great mattress.

This mattress was purchased to replace a similar mattess purchased years ago. We figured being name brand it was a pretty safe purchase. We opened the mattress and gave it two days is a warm room to expand. It only got to 9.5 inches, not the stated 12. The cover was still very loose unlike the mattres we were replacing. We have slept on it for 2 weeks and it is terrible. It's like sleeping on a board. We put a 4" foam topper on it hoping to not have to return it and it's hardly any better. We will be returning and do not recommend purchasing this product.

(1) Arrived in a large, tall plain brown box. My concern is that Sam's club sold me returned and/or used mattress. (2) Mattress has a stain on one side. (3) Mattress does not feel like the same model SertaSleepToGo that I purchased and enjoyed twice before. The previous mattresses were in a Serta box with convenient wheels. (4) Sam's Club will not accept a return in the store. They are requiring that I stay home for a pickup. So, I would have to take off from work to return the mattress. I am 100% dissatisfied. Heading over to Sam's Club now to request a full refund for my plus membership.

We bought this for our camper, opting for a foam mattress because it was slightly lighter than a spring mattress and easier to get into the camper. I've always been reluctant on foam because I don't like to sink into a mattress. But I don't feel like I sink into this mattress at all. It's perfect. Very firm but not too firm. My wife sleeps better on this one than our Avocado at home. Getting ready to purchase another one for my son's bed. I think it's a great mattress at a great price.

I bought the Serta SleepToGo 12" Gel Memory Foam Luxury Mattress and I have to say it is more comfortable than my previous mattress. However, I paid $700 for it and I expected better quality. I have encountered some of the same problems that other reviewers have mentioned, such as sagging and heat retention. But my biggest issue is that the mattress is not 12 inches thick as advertised. It is only 10 inches and it has not expanded to its full size even after a year of use. I feel cheated and disappointed by this product.

This is our second of these mattresses. The first I handed down to my daughter and its still fabulous after 10 years. No divits or compressions. The second is now 6 years old and is still perfect. This is a firm mattress, so Im not sure why people are saying its soft. You can sit on the sides without it compressing down. Its a 10/10 for me.

This is like sleeping on a table or slab of cement. The foam is too dense for lighter frame people. I feel like I'm on up hard a counter. There is NO PRESSURE RELIEVING points when you sit atop this. To make things even worse, this foam mattress is so hot I believe in spontaneous human combustion now. I bought this a month ago and wake up every morning sore and stiff, and because of covid I waited on the phone for 47 min to get someone who ultimately told me to call local club, which was horrible at customer service for me. I would never recommend this bed, or buying in-club in case you ever need assistance because this 100% Serta guarantee is sketchy if "not bought on-line". I feel the Sam’s Club Member Services AND the members-only Serta hotline Serta Mattress Specialists should have a much better system to assist members than I have experienced.

My husband and I bought this mattress almost a week ago in hopes of a better night's sleep. This mattress has made me want to do anything but sleep in it. If you like sleeping on hard floors than you will love this mattress. I believe it also states cooling gel or something along those lines, and definitely not. We needed something a bit more firm than what we replaced, but still semi soft to at least feel as if we're still sleeping in a bed due to my spine and neck injuries years ago. I honestly think prisoners have a better sleeping pad than this. Complete disappointment and going to see if I can return, if not get rid of it. I won't be purchasing a serta again.

Bought this a couple weeks ago and unfortunately, it was just too soft for me. I'm a larger guy, 230 lbs 6'1", and a combination sleeper. It was nice for the side position, but very uncomfortable on my stomach, and not great on my back. Fortunately Sam's made the return process easy.
