Seeded with Scott's Bermuda Seed about 2 1/2 months ago, grass was patchy but healthy and growing. Grass had become infested with various weeds and wild grasses found in Florida so I decided, after a lot of research, it was time to follow up with 'Southern Weed & Feed'; big mistake as it killed the weeds and some of the clover/nut grass but also did a huge number on my fledgling bermuda yard. I'll never use this again...beginning to highly question if I will continue with my Scott's yard app and account needless to say!

Put this out a week ago and it killed almost all my grass in about seven days. The only thing it didnt kill quickly was the dollar weeds i bought it to kill. If you want to ruin your lawn youve spent lots of time and money on, this is the perfect product.

I purchase a bag of Bonus S (10, 000 sq ft ) for my my St Augustine lawn in Florida that had dollar weed, applied Jan8 and watered immediately after application. As of Feb 2 it did nothing to kill the dollar weed much less other weeds that start growing this time of year. Something seriously wrong with this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is horrible. It destroyed over 10k Sq ft of beautiful yard. First they said send 2 estimates and proof of purchase, plus pics. I did. Then some vericlaim inspectors attempted to bully me into letting them on my property Father's Day to decide how bad it was. My yard is dirt. I'd say that's bad. I contacted the department of agriculture and the EPA for an inspection. Now vericlaim is hot yo buy me off. DON'T GET BULLIED! REPORT THEM!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts bonus S is easy to use. Directions are simple and clear. The application process was pretty brief and I watered in the granules. I have some weeds in my yard so I am waiting to see how the granules react on the weeds. Application was yesterday so cannot determine how the product effectiveness on weeds.

Scotts Bonus S has always worked well and makes the lawn thicker and greener. It is easy to apply and the instructions are very clear. I have always been satisfied with the results of Bonus S.

I follow the “Scotts” application plan for Southern St Augustine yards with exception of no added products in August as I always mulch my grass and leaves and feel I’m getting an extra “free” fertilization over the year by doing that. Look at my January lawn on left to my neighbors’ none Scotts lawn on right. This photo also shows how effective the Scotts EdgeGuard is at controlling the application of the products!!
