Southern newbie here, and let's just say my lawn journey hasn't been smooth sailing. I tried a couple of fertilizers based on research, but nothing seemed to work. Reviews on Bonus S were mixed, but desperate times call for desperate measures, right? Last year, I took a leap of faith and applied it to my front lawn, just before a heavy rain shower. Two weeks later, thicker green lawn. I was shocked. I had men from the neighborhood walk up to me and ask what I was using on my lawn. Yeah, that was a proud moment for me. The transformation was amazing, especially considering the state of everyone else's turf in the neighborhood. The builder's turf choice was full of weeds, a real eyesore. Replacing it wasn't an option, so I was determined to make it thrive. And with a little trial and error, I did! Yep. this year, I did the same, and my lawn is looking great, including the backyard. It's killing the weeds but there are a few stragglers as expected. To get rid of all your weeds, you need to add a pre-emergent in the spring and post-emergent in the late spring when the stragglers are small but actively growing.

Bought 2 5ksqft bags to treat my 3 yr in the works lawn that I have nursed back to health painfully. Southern weed an feed!!!!!! I am in Texas Bermuda grass people why is this not on the actual product "DO NOT USE ON BERMUDA GRASS".YARD IS COMPLETELY DESTROYED 100S IF NOT THOUSANDS DOWN THE DRAIN.Only reason I now know why is I went to the scot site and at the bottom of the product description. DO NOT USE ON BERMUDA GRASS. Complete negligence on Scott's part not to include this on the package. Complete scorched earth situation from what I have been told by Scotts reps can only lay sod now and only specific ones. Negligence complete and utter negligence. I expect a resolution and I expect to have a yard that I worked over 3 yrs and babied from seedlings to enjoy with my family. Disgusting product and southern lawn needs to be removed from the product. Oh not to mention the weeds are thriving in the dead grass they never missed a beat of growth as everything else died

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applyed Scott's weed n feed to my grass. It was about 10 days ago.I can see great results, my grass had some yellowing in some spots. Yellow is gone, grass looks great. I would recomend this product.

I live on west coast of Florida, dollar weeds were all over my St Augustine lawn. Lawn didn't look good, many bare areas where grass wasn't growing at all. Scott's Super Bonus Weed & Feed took care of the dollar weeds, after a few weeks, they started shriveling up. My lawn's never looked better in 15 years. I've tried other products, nothing matches Scott's performance on my lawn. I wish I used it from the first year. Lawn is now green, lush looking and no dollar weeds.

I've purchased this product on 3/18/2021. I was hoped that it will stop the weeds. After following direction on product lable I've treated the front an back lawns. It has been over a month and I see more types of weeds that I did not see before. Scotts Bonus S was my go to brand to solve weeds.This products feeds the weeds instead of killing weeds. I will not purchase this brand again because it does not solve lawn weeds problem it feeds the lawn for new and more weeds to come out.

I have used in past on current lawn and had great success, this year not so much. Put down 3 weeks ago, followed directions and waited, nothing. However my weeds look great. Is there still a guarantee? I have 4 empty bags I would love to discuss options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied Bonus S in the early spring and always get great results. not only does my St Augustine grass green up but it will kill off the dollar weed that started to invade the yard. Just a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Totally greened up my St. Augustine grass in Florida. Was effective for Dollar Weed but it took longer than expected. Broadleaf weeds controlled very well, including Dandelion and Sedge. Crabgrass was difficult to treat as has been the case with most weed control agents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used this product in both central Florida and the South Carolina low country, I can attest to its effectiveness, though patience is required for its full effect. The weeds don't die overnight and there are other Scotts fertilizers that seem to green up faster. It's use on both Centipede and St. Augustine grasses resulted in the desired effect. A word of caution: it may be safer to use a drop spreader if you have a lot of plants nearby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been using southern weed and feed since I live in Florida and it work pretty good the grass is greener and less weeds and the patches are starting to grow grass,,it took a few weeks to notice but it's looking much better now
