[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really pleased with the results I am seeing as I am entering the second spring of using Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S on my central (USDA growing zone 9B) Florida lawn. My front lawn is mostly St. Augustine and my back lawn is a hodge-podge of centipede, bahia and some other runner-types I can not identify. My neighbors have informed me the lawn was put in decades ago and previous owners had not paid much attention to lawn care. So, how has Scotts Bonus S been performing on my old and previously neglected lawn? I believe it has done a wonderful job of killing weeds and feeding the grass. I notice a green-up of my lawn within days of application. Weeds start turning yellow within-in a week and most are brown soon after. Then, I usually mow once or twice a week in the warmer months and the lawn really takes off. I appreciate that the product is so easy to handle---the dry granules have low dust and are easy to pour from the bag. I enjoyed the easy use of my Scotts spreader and the easy-to-follow instructions for application rates. I strongly recommend Scotts bonus S if your lawn is like mine. It works!

I maybe laid down too late in the year, and did not know there was weed killer it this product. I thought the only weed killer was true weed & feed. Nice to know weed killer in others -- should put in all fertilizers.

From mowing to edging, and pruning to generally keeping the conversation going between all the plants and grass in the area. We practice baseball, football, and even track and field on and around the grass, trees, bushes, and being careful of my wife's flowers (that sometime become part of the action). However, no matter how much you take care, a well manicured yard (grass) is under attack by weeds. What to do? Pulling weeds only seems to delay the inevitable emergence of those dastardly monsters. The Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed & Feed 2 has been my savior. We apply it either right before a rain making sure that we water once the application has been completed seems to keep the situation under control. The grass is thicker and the weeds get "choked" out, so maybe I watch to maybe SciFi movies but this is WAR. It is easy to apply and does not clump in the Scotts spreader. I have a 40x70 back yard and this covers that area first horizontal and then vertically. I want to make sure that it is covered.

I had a beautiful lawn with a few weed issues here and there. Nothing of concern, I applied this product and I am covered in weeds. What the heck? My front yard has huge weeds everywhere. Granted I know the formulas are designed to increase weeds quickly to kill the, but I have weeds coming out of areas that have been seedless for years! 15 years I have never had this problem with other brands.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Applied this product two weeks ago and yard is still full of clover and other weeds. We are seasoned home owners who have always done our own lawn care for 40+ years. After moving to Florida 8 yrs ago, the lawn care changed, but still relied on Scott's products. The yard was hand-weeded end to end one year, but still had weeds coming back AFTER applying a Scott's product. This year, we tried this new product because it specifically advertised for Southern lawns AND kills clover, dollar weed, etc. While some clover seems to have died off, not sure if that's from the colder weather or the product. MOST of the clover remains, as well as several other types of weeds. While I don't expect my lawn to be the beautiful lush green of my old house in the north, I do expect it to be grass and not total weeds, especially after applying a product. I had high hopes for this new product, but won't waste my limited money on it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a month ago. Works great. I did have to retreat some dollar weed as I was conservative with it the first time as it was near some hibiscus plants. Did a good job otherwise & worked well with my zoysia grass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Bonus S about a week ago, and almost all the weeds are gone. The weeds are excessively bad right now in Louisiana, so it is near impossible to get them all, but Bonus S made a huge difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish this was four weeks from now. Too early to tell how effective the weed killer is. See below. I have Saphire grass (a new version of Flortam) and the only retail version of a weed killer that can be used is Atrazine and that is in this product. The product has only been on my lawn for about two weeks. Atrazine is a systemic and requires anywhere from one week to six weeks to work it's way into the plants. Some of the weeds are just now starting to show the results. I have used a spray on version of Atrazine before and have liked the results. It is looking like this product will do what I want though it is a little early. It should make a big difference when we get to our rainy season which should be soon. Basically, Scotts makes good product. I expect this will be one of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product was applied and we saw results in about a weeks time. It worked on most weeds. "nut grass" and "small broad leaf weed" didn't seem to be affected. Product was applied the day of watering in dry sunny conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of the sample program. It went on like a dream, the lumps no chunks no problems using the Scott's spreader. I did put it on a little bit later than I normally would do to a broken foot. However I've used this before and I know what it's going to do to my lawn. I can't wait to see the results this year.
