The closer the grass gets to undeveloped lot next door the more weeds appear. Not the fault of the Weed & Feed, it’s the proximity to “bad seed” Happy with results, may try another application sooner than recommended in “problem” area.

I applied this product ten days ago and already I am seeing great results with my St. Augustine grass. My lawn is greener than any of my neighbors lawns. I would strongly recommend this product! It has great results!!

Now each time my lawn gets cut it looks better and better. I have marked my calendar how and when to apply all of Scott's great products as needed.

For years I have used Scotts® Turf Builder® Bonus® S Southern Weed & Feed with no problems and have great results. This year the bag was loaded with large and small clumps of product that were so hard that I could not bust them up using a hammer. Needless to say the broadcaster did not not feed correctly. NEVER will buy Scotts® Turf Builder® Bonus® S Southern Weed & Feed again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Killed the weeds over a month. Grass responded well to the fertilizer. I have St. Augustine, Centipede, and Zoysia and worked on all three! Will use again and apply the next fertilizer in the series.

Southern newbie here, and let's just say my lawn journey hasn't been smooth sailing. I tried a couple of fertilizers based on research, but nothing seemed to work. Reviews on Bonus S were mixed, but desperate times call for desperate measures, right? Last year, I took a leap of faith and applied it to my front lawn, just before a heavy rain shower. Two weeks later, thicker green lawn. I was shocked. I had men from the neighborhood walk up to me and ask what I was using on my lawn. Yeah, that was a proud moment for me. The transformation was amazing, especially considering the state of everyone else's turf in the neighborhood. The builder's turf choice was full of weeds, a real eyesore. Replacing it wasn't an option, so I was determined to make it thrive. And with a little trial and error, I did! Yep. this year, I did the same, and my lawn is looking great, including the backyard. It's killing the weeds but there are a few stragglers as expected. To get rid of all your weeds, you need to add a pre-emergent in the spring and post-emergent in the late spring when the stragglers are small but actively growing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product for years. My yard started with a bunch of weeds and grass lacking nutrients and unable to handle the hot summers. Now, my yard looks like carpet and has a deep green color. It handles drought periods very well and i get compliments all the time.

I bought this product because I have been very successful using the Scotts Turf Builder for Southern Lawns on my Fescue lawn. Bonus S is a companion product along with the Turf Builder for Southern Lawns. These two products are used in one of Scotts 4 step plans. In the last several years I have had trouble with dollar weed, so when I saw these two products suggested together I was thrilled because Bonus S is supposed to kill dollar week. After a few days after application of Bonus S I noticed my grass declining. I had read up on the product before I bought it and I read the bag again before applying. The only warning on the bag was not to use on Bermuda. I scanned front and back on the bag and way down out the bottom of the bag, and near the seam, in a smaller font, in parenthesis it said, "may harm fescue." I wish they had labeled that information more clearly in the application instructions and uses. My once beautiful lawn looks horrible now. Why would they develop a lawn maintenance plan that has one product that works well with Fescue and the other product destroys it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bonus S is a great use for my southern grass mixed yard. This has destroyed the clover and dollar weed. I have noticed my st. Augustine starting to spreed faster in the week spots of my yard. Great product and does exactly what is written on the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Totally greened up my St. Augustine grass in Florida. Was effective for Dollar Weed but it took longer than expected. Broadleaf weeds controlled very well, including Dandelion and Sedge. Crabgrass was difficult to treat as has been the case with most weed control agents.
