[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this product for about a year now. Having a product for the long hot summers of the Southeast has been a game changer for my lawn. I’ve been able to maintain my lush Bermuda grass lawn for over a year now and this turf builder has been part of my routine for keeping it up.

Our lawn is absolutely beautiful because we use this product. I was amazed at how well it got rid of the weeds. grub worn got to the lawn two years ago but with Scott's weed and feed it is complete;y restored. Using Scott's grub control to keep it beautiful.

It scorched my lawn so bad, that the grass completely died and I have huge bare spots in my lawn now. I followed the instructions to the letter and it still ruined my lawn. It did a fairly good job of killing the weeds in my lawn, but it did an exceptional job of killing my grass. If you want to overpay for a product and have your lawn look barren, I would highly recommend this product.

My front and rear lawn are about the same size. I always used Scott's Bonus S and the lawns looked great. Over the winter I had an attack of weeds on both lawns especially the front lawn. I saw a commercial for another brand and thought I would try it on the front and Scott's on the back. As the grass grew, the back lawn looked great, was full and no weeds. The front lawn was terrible, more weeds, grass didn't look good and was thin. I went and purchased a small bag of Scott's Bonus S and just put it down on the front lawn. Inspecting it today, it really looks different. More and more both yards are looking great. Needless to say, I wont buy Bayer's again.

Last year I used a spray liquid weed stop and a few weeks later used Turf Builder. I was told I wasted my money so this year I bought Bonus S Weed & Feed for St. Augustine (Southern Grasses). My yard has turned a beautiful green but the weeds are as strong as the grass. Should I apply Turf Builder in a few weeks and hope it smothers the weeds? Should I spray weed stop in a couple weeks? When is it safe to try and kill the weeds again? I love the green but I hate when it comes from weeds. All of my neighbors have an excellent yard. I normally dominate but they are catching up and we can't have someone else have a lawn that looks better than mine. If they all go up a level then I need to go up two levels. Weed & Feed from Scotts is not making that happen.

Ive used the Bonus S weed and feed for many years on our 4 acre grass in our Shreveport home and it worked like a champ. I bought 6 bags for our ocean front 1 acre lawn in Ocean Springs and applied it several weeks ago. It absolutely failed spectacularly on our beach house lawn. The weeds have proliferated during this time and Ive wasted 3 bags on our front lawn, with 3 bags still in reserve for our back yard. For some reason, what worked on our Shreveport lawn just destroyed our Ocean Springs lawn.

I didn't have quite enough so I used some of a different product I had left over from before. Within a month I can see the difference in my lawn where I put the Scotts and the other product. My lawn is even greener and thicker than my neighbors. To tell you the truth, I am now having to mow my lawn more often than before. The product killed most of the weeds in the lawn and since the grass is getting thicker it should keep the weeds out. I love the product and would definitely recommend this product, and am going to continue using Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed and Feed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used this product in both central Florida and the South Carolina low country, I can attest to its effectiveness, though patience is required for its full effect. The weeds don't die overnight and there are other Scotts fertilizers that seem to green up faster. It's use on both Centipede and St. Augustine grasses resulted in the desired effect. A word of caution: it may be safer to use a drop spreader if you have a lot of plants nearby.
