[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I look for value for dollar in products I must use repeatedly, Scott's lawn care products, although more expensive than most do seem to deliver better, so I use less, less often, which offsets the cost. The weed and feed works pretty consistently, although it sometimes does effect the grass as well as weeds, and I've had some stubborn dollar weed which has needed multiple applications. My lawn has gotten thicker over several years of using Scotts, and my neighbors have noticed enough to compliment me. I don't use any lawn care service, I weed, feed, mow and trim and I have a lawn that looks professionally maintained. Thanks Scotts.

I waited until the weather warmed up and the grass was greened up from dormancy like the instructions said. I applied the product and now 2 weeks later the weeds are semi-dead AND SO IS MY GRASS! The grass turned dark green/black and curled up on the ends at first. Now it's dead. I worked 3 years to establish this lawn and now it's for nothing. Very upset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Added Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Lawn weed and feed about a month ago and it exceeded expectations. Killed most of the weeds that creeped in over the winter except for a small patch of dollar weed. I reapplied to that area and it took care of business. I may have just missed the spot when applying. Anyhow, my lawn is green and full now and I plan on making Scott's Bonus S weed and feed my "Go To" product every season.

I'm going to have to agree with the rest. Put this product down per the instructions and 6 weeks later this grass is nice and green but so are the weeds. Had no effect at all on weeds, I am familiar with Atrazine and how it works. Just for experimental purposes, I re-applied a 2nd bag 4 weeks after 1st treatment. Once again, grass still looks great but so do weeds. 2nd year I've used product with same results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For 10 years I hired a local company to fertilize and take care of weeds in my lawn. After we started to have declining results a friend suggested just doing it myself using Scott's Bonus S. I've been using it the past 3 years with much better results than we were getting with the professional service. The past 2 years I've been using Scott's "My Lawn" app which is great for reminding me when and what to apply next.

If you apply before a heavy rain there is a chance it wIll not soak into your lawn but run off across your yard to the lowest points. That is a chance you have to take with letting Mother Nature watering it in for you. If you have underground irrigation which many homeowners do not these days you may have to water in with just an above ground sprinkler around your yard. The picture below is after a week after applying the weed and feed bonus S formula (purple bag). I watered in with the underground irrigation at about 25 mins each station. Just a word of advise for everyone. 70 or 75% of water that you use to water your lawn via irrigation in sunny hot part of the day will evaporate!!! So it's best to water early morning. Ours is set for 4am with 15-20mins each station. But it is up to you how much you waste water and $$$ when all it does is evaporates during the heat of the day. If you just have to water after your mow your lawn after you cut it. Water it that night! You will appreciate that tid bit of advice. Water is cheaper than electricity so it's your call whether you want a greener lawn or ........?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great on my zoysia to clear out the winter weeds that pop up. I put down early March when my grass just starts to grow. I love the extra potassium that all of the scotts products provide as well.

I ended up pulling my weeds. This product did turn a few of of the weeds yellow but did not kill anything. Do not buy this product! I dont even have my receipt so I cannot even think of getting my money back. I spent good money on something I trusted would work. I am soo upset about it not working and me having to manually pull the weeds. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I applied this to my lawn in April also used max green in June Over the summer my lawn is now dying It did look wonderful to start with but now there are weeds and large area's that are dead. Have been using this product before with no problems. My neighbor also has the same problems as his lawn is dying also

I applied the product as recommended (in New Orleans here), actually applied a second time a week later. Dollar weeds are everywhere - I don't think it killed a one! I watered after applying, did everything as recommended on the package. I'm about to look online to see if there is any other recommended products - other than wait until it gets hot and those things die naturally.
