I used this on my 8 month old Scotts Classic Grass Seed, that babied and spent several hundred dollars on seed and water, to help kill the weeds and boost the lawn. It is now mostly dead after it was so beautiful and green. You can see exactly where it was spread onto the lawn. Im so sad. This should not have happened.

Put this down 2.5 wks. ago EXACTLY as directed in central Florida on my St. Augustine and mixed grass area. Weeds are still flourishing quite nicely and grass is no greener than before. Spoke with the big box home improvement store I bought this at and they said it can take up to 12 weeks to see results so by that time it will be mid June and the weeds will have a further chance to seed and multiply. Never again will I purchase this product. I have had better luck with other brands.

I have a healthy 2 year old yard that was starting to have a few weeds so after doing the research I purchased this product. I followed the schedule and directions exactly and had ZERO results on the weeds, actually they started growing and spreading faster. I had to hire a professional company to apply multiple rounds of treatment to save the lawn, very expensive mistake. If you live in SW Florida let the licensed professionals handle your lawn care and avoid the problems I had.

I ended up pulling my weeds. This product did turn a few of of the weeds yellow but did not kill anything. Do not buy this product! I dont even have my receipt so I cannot even think of getting my money back. I spent good money on something I trusted would work. I am soo upset about it not working and me having to manually pull the weeds. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I usually buy a bag tame the weeds in the spring. It seems the past few years it has done little to nothing to tame, much less kill my weeds. I spread this about a month ago and a little rain and extreme humidity helped "water it in", and only a few weeds turned yellow and died. 99% of all the other normal southeen Texas weeds are flourshing and growing...well...like weeds. I have spent my last dollar on a Scott's product. This was a complete waste of time and money. I'm sure the government has probably regulated the industry so much, that these guys cand even make a legitimate working product any more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: I received a free sample to test for my unbiased opinion Though I have used Scotts W&F for several years this was the first time I had used the reformulated product. It has bigger granules and was much easier to spread on the yard. It covered exactly as the bag indicated (5000 sq ft). The results were almost immediate as the dollar weed that had recently sprouted (due to a lot of rain activity) started to wilt and die off. I give this product upgrade 4 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product many times in the past and have received compliments on how green and lush my yard was compared to all the neighbors. Once the cable company was coming through and dug trenches in everyone's yard to lay the cable but when they got my yard they commented on how beautiful the grass looked and they "flushed" the cable underground with a pipe without digging up the yard. Great stuff!! Really the only fertilizer to keep dollar weeds away.

Second time trying and I am sorry, but I put this down 2 weeks ago in Houston and all it did was make the clover grow greener. Dollar weed still green and all the rest of the weeds. Great hype but doesn't seem to work. Going back to using liquid spray. Also is says for Southern lawns, but ingredients is mostly nitrogen. Should be 15-5-10 for southern lawns according to agricultural extensions in my area.
